What is going on? There was all party protest in a Commons' debate last week, and all the government could say in response was:
"we are working to see what more we can do to open up international travel with the aid of vaccines.”
There has been little mention of the topic either in the press (or in Lockdown Sceptics) recently. Is there are covert move towards an Aussie long term closed borders, Zero Covid policy?.
Most of EU will be allowing vaccine certificated travel without testing or isolation. Only entry to Britain will still require (very expensive) testing and isolation. A real restriction of our freedoms. And real restriction to families, to business as well as the travel industry and holidays.

We've got the ridiculous situation currently where other countries will recognise the vaccine the UK government gave a person and allow them entry, often with no test but on return the UK government doesn't recognise *its own vaccine* so makes everyone take a minimum of 3 PCR tests and quarantine for 10 days.

I think through blundering incompetence and paranoia the UK is following an impossible zerocovid policy without even realising.

I have just got my first dose of Moderna and I heard about this vaccine passport to travel abroad. Is that now mandatory? where can I get that. Also, if your vaccine is from China esp Sinovac, the US won't accept it!

@farrahlux280 The US wont accept AstraZenica either.

It'll only accept approved vaccines.  They applied twice and failed.
