REJOICE for it means that we are getting closer to food security, an ever rising population will surely result in catastrophe. We live on a planet, a finite environment. Anyone who thinks that you can have infinite population growth in a finite environment is either a madman or an economist.
It is a certain sign that, after our insignificant lives are done, the world must find a way to continue, building on our wealth and culture such that our children, and those who come later, might prosper.We should each sleep slightly more soundly tonight, knowing that nature is finding a way, at long last.
