You're not alone. Everything is so black and white and so aggressive. And I agree with you that some of the stuff totally doesn't help the sceptic cause. Try the Reddit gp if you're not on it already. And good luck with SITP. I can never make it because of childcare stuff but it sounds nice and I think finding local people who are like-minded is probably really helpful (I haven't yet - am in full muzzled middle classes territory!). Feel free to pm. I can't promise to be able to do much but I'm quite normal!! 😂

If you are interested in sharing examples, which of course you might not be, I totally get that - I'd be interested to know what useful info you found.

I can still go to SITP now there's a local one, but their discussion thread wasn't a great ad really. Kt seemed like there was only one acceptable way to think?

I'm starting to think that many people are just going along but aren't actually scared. I have no problem with people wearing a mask to avoid a fine, I am exempt but couldn't afford the fine.

In general, my experience on Telegram made me a lot more sympathetic.

I won't join Reddit and I have deleted Twitter. It's not doing me any good.

I didn't want to talk politics, I just wanted to meet local people so I wasn't alone in the next lockdown.

I dipped in and out of groups..I also pm a lot of people and met people that way..I met a lot of individuals at sitp..all these led onto other things..
Re the fines and masks..all thrown out at court..they only recieved money from those silly enough to pay it..they dont it in court as that means having to justify themselves with evidence...

I find myself mixing with people from all walks of life with many views about many things that I find bizarre. But we all agree on removing the unnecessary restraints on our freedoms. We have to be prepared to walk the same path until this is achieved. It is important that people focus on this shared goal. The forces stacked against us are daunting and there are not enough of us to go separate ways, or conflate other issues with the central - and most pressing - issue that we share.

I know what you mean. But my freedom means having the choice to accept certain medical treatments and I don't just mean the vaccine. As I say, some of the people I met would be banning all sorts of things.

Also i met quite a few people who really despise anyone who wants their old life back. Hating on people who enjoyed their lives before...it's just not what I'm about.

Disagreement is one thing. But the people I met were quite happy to take other freedoms away and none of it made any sense. I might have been unlucky but as I say, I just didn't want to sift through a load of - am I allowed to swear? - in the hope of finding gold.

Also, the people I connected with were immediately sending videos about their own stuff, which seems odd.
