The Medicines Patent Pool , until now used to lower the prices of HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis C medicines in poorer places , and will now be used to manufacture and distribute Merck's molnupiravir and Pfizer's paxlovid, without paying royalties in poorer countries.

How long will it be before lock-down sceptic turn on the Medicines Patent Pool and start spreading vile rumours and misinformation?
