I like to read alternative / non-fiction (science, philosophy, history), walk in the Peaks (weather permitting), relax watching movies, documentaries & football, and have a good stimulating conversation in the pub with some giggles.
I like listening and chatting about random stuff, both silly and serious. I don't take things too serious or personal and I'm not offended easily - if you are, then I'm not the one for you.
I’m a family first man who is calm, honest, centred and has kind vibes. I’m straightforward, practical, mature and direct.
I’m not into someone who wants a bit of fun. My number one pet hate in someone is dishonesty. Move along if that is you. In an insane world, I'm looking to meet someone who considers themselves calm, kind and awake - with a slightly quirky sense of humour!

I read your profile with interest. I live in Sheffield and find the mass hysteria over Covid very frustrating. The difficulty of meeting like minded people locally makes it even more difficult to deal with. I am a teacher, also I am older than you - in my 50's - and regardless of meeting someone on a romantic basis would just like to meet someone who shares my outlook on the "pandemic".
