Today I received a reply from my local (Conservative) MP. Well, it's not actually a reply as such but a standard letter dealing with his position on the various issues raised. I am not very comforted but at least he says he is against the vaccine passports. I hope he did vote against them and did not change his mind - I'm trying to find a full list of how they actually voted but can only find reports of who said they were going to vote againt.
Anyway, FWIW the text of the letter is attached as a pdf (I tried to put in the body of this message but apparently it exceeds the character limit)
I wonder whether it is worth my while responding to him on the subject of vaccines and their (in)effectiveness regarding transmission of Covid but I suspect I would be wasting my time 🙁
The usual guff assuming the jabs and the masks actually work.
I hope he did rebel, but there's little hard evidence for the measures he approves making any difference beyond appearances.
I'm comforted that my MP did actually vote against, much to my surprise.
Yes, I agree Jane it is just the usual guff. However I am pleased to note that he is on the list of those voting against the Vaxports.
