I'd like to propose "Oh No" by Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention. Written as a riposte to the Beatles "All You Need Is Love" it has a suitably sceptical tone. Zappa was neither "Right" nor "Left" but strongly anti-establishment. In January 1990 Zappa was invited by Václav Havel (last President of Czechoslovakia from 1989 to 1992 and the first President of the Czech Republic from 1993-2003) to become Special Ambassador to the West on Trade, Culture and Tourism. This was vetoed by James, Baker, the US Secretary of State at the time, who famously said "You can do business with the United States or you can do business with Frank Zappa."
Any other suggestions for sceptical musical themes?
