I noticed on the Northern Ireland gov website today that people can now apply for Covid Recovery Certificates as of yesterday. I can't see on the England gov website that people in England can apply for these. But hopefully someone on here knows better. You have to have had a positive PCR test between 11 and 180 days ago and you will automatically assume to have recovered from Covid. These Certificates will be accepted in the UK for admission to events, pubs restaurants etc and some countries abroad will accept them. They renew automatically. This is a solution for those who have recovered and have not had vaccinations, there might be quite a lot of such people. Surely it's a way out least partially. It would of course leave those who are unvaccinated but do not think they have had covid with no recourse, but that diminishing number could be tested for immunity if they wished. Am I wrong in thinking this would sweep up nearly everyone in the population after nearly 21 months of exposure to the virus?
Certification of any kind MUST BE RESISTED at all costs!

What will you do in 6 months time when we have accepted these recovery certs for access to life and Gov suddenly say there is a new teenage mutant ninja turtle strain of convid and to fight it Recovery Certs must be dropped and only vaxxes passes will be eligible?

Who do you suggest pay these costs?
Your refusal to be vaccinated is one thing. It is a personal decision.
It does not mean that the consequences of that decision should be inflicted on someone else.
Some potential consequences of your decision, for you to consider:
You become infected and infect someone else, or lots of people.
You become infected and severely ill. You will expect health care that could cause someone else to be denied important treatment.
The provision of your health care infects health care workers, putting them in danger and reducing capacity further.
You maintain that you have the right to present risk to others and any mechanism proposed to protect them from you, is an infringement of your "rights".
How do you explain the moral case for this stance?
A vaccine passport is a simple mechanism and all you have to do is take a lateral flow test to meet the requirements.
Is that really too hard for you?
The move to a social credit system is even more retrograde in common law countries than elsewhere. In English law, we basically have the right to do anything unless parliament has passed a law to prevent us doing it. In France, you don't have the right to do something unless the state has specifically given you that right. (The EU passed a 'charter of fundamental rights' to give people in some member states more freedoms than they had.)
Social credit systems basically remove *all* your rights and freedoms. The state gives you what rights it thinks you deserve. Worse than '1984'.
Most people haven't remotely woken up to this philosophical U-turn and won't until the last minute ... if then. As I write, only about 70-80 Tory MPs are intending to rebel tomorrow (Tues. 14.12.21) and I heard that the LibDems, Lab and Grn who rebelled on a vote in March may vote with the government.
