The deplorable decision to dispense with the words to Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Brittania is absolutely shameful.
These words 'Britain never shall be slaves' are beautiful and patriotic, They do not suggest that Britain believes in slavery. They state that Britain is determined to remain free and independent. They engender national pride and emotion - what in the name of God is wrong with that?
It is utterly reprehensible that the BBC should have bowed to Leftie woke weirdos and abandoned these moving words.
Shame on the BBC!
