...Watch and learn...Haha, very funny. Complete bunk. Bezmenov wasn't KGB, he was a journalist who worked for RIA Novosti. He certainly worked on propaganda but there's no evidence whatsoever he was KGB. When he defected he had to boost his supposed defection value by pretending to be much more important than he was. All this garbage about the elaborate plan for overthrowing nations is just made up, he knew what the Canadians & Americans wanted to hear. The Soviets said he wasn't important and they were right. He was an idiot who fancied an easier life and managed, through much lying, to get one.

Maybe he embellished, maybe he boosted himself and maybe yes it was what people wanted to hear. That doesn't mean it isn't happening. I think the CCP is a more likely suspect.

"...I think the CCP is a more likely suspect..."

A more likely suspect for what? You are being evasive. What are you accusing the Chinese government of doing?

Completely wrong. I watched the interview back in 1984 and  there were extensive articles at the time not only in the NY Times, Wall St J and WaPo but the Sunday Times and Observer digging into his story. He was ligit.  He was CPSU and had done the training at Dzerzhinsky. All confirmed when the Soviet archives were opened in the 1990's.

Of course he was denounced back then as a fraud and a CIA plant by Pravda etc and by Radio Moscow (in English at night on Medium Wave) and by its modern heirs RT and Channel One Russia etc. And those who repeat this very deliberately crafted dezinformatsiya

Like you, perhaps.

I love being accused of being a communist spy, it's hilarious. The smug fraud Bezmenov is only ever quoted by cranks who think that "socialism" & "totalitarianism" are "the greatest threats to our way of life" despite the fact that they live in the bankrupt, decrepit, collapsing UK or the US where there is no socialism and the prevailing politics are extreme liberalism - which includes being coerced to receive vaccine that has not had long term tests. The chaos we see around us in the West has arisen as a direct consequence of "free markets", "free movement" and the kind of "freedom" that only comes with enslavement to finance capitalism and globalism & the rejection of the nation state and our traditions.

"...He was CPSU..."

Of course he was CPSU. He worked on propaganda for RIA Novosti and I'm certain he gave information to the authorities. However there is no hard evidence apart from his own tedious, self-satisfied inventions that he was, or had ever been, a member of the KGB. He was too much of an idiot.

But what about the KGB's plan for the overthrow of the "free" West that he liked to drone on about??? There obviously was not a single plan. The "free" West was attacking the USSR & the USSR was attacking the "free" West. The KGB would have had different plans, agents & sympathisers for EVERY nation they wished to influence that took into account their individual characteristics. The hack Bezmenov had just taught himself to say what Canadian/US counter intelligence wanted to hear. No official record of his membership of the KGB has EVER been disclosed, because it doesn't exist.

Now we see that there is "confirmation" of the origin being Wuhan. Of course they will not confirm the release as intentional. Maybe this was not planned to be the final attack on us but simply a trial. What next to subjugate us to rule by the world's self declared "elite"? I'm sure that all of this has been planned for a very long time.

I'm sure that all of this has been planned for a very long time.

The "confirmation" consists of a report from the House Republicans who have never spoken honestly and fairly about China (except when they're investing their millions in its economy) and never will.

You can read it, it's only 84 pages. They've got nothing. Big fat zero. They've hung together a lot of rumour, coincidence, speculation & anti-CCP propaganda. They've tried to out-science the sceptics by asserting evidence of genetic engineering when the simple fact is that it is completely and utterly impossible to show that a virus has been engineered. Anything humans can do nature & evolution can do too. Unless someone coded in their phone number for a laugh you are definitely not going to know. Consequently the case you are making for alleged global genocide has no basis.

I don't believe you are a friend of his forum since these kind of evidence-free sensational claims will deter casual visitors (who might have an interest in epidemiology, virology, health, journalism, politics etc etc.) from reading on & looking for an interesting debate.

Your reference to "...the world's self-declared "elite"..." is a good example of a blind assertion. Where was this declaration made? I must have missed it. The globalist elite in the West is identifiable but far from united. If you consider the elites on a global scale there are massive geo-political conflicts & rifts over even basic economics, consider the Nord Stream pipeline & the extraordinary US attempts to stop Germany getting affordable gas from Russia. No signs of any coherent global elite there. If you're just talking about very rich people then they have always been around, what reason would they have for decimating the world's population? There's no evidence they act in unison or that they have common aims.

Grant Shapps is UK Secretary of State for Transport. From today's (Thu 5th Aug) Times -

"...Coronavirus vaccination will be required to travel “for ever more” and young people will not be able to leave the country without it, the transport secretary warned today.

Grant Shapps said most or all countries would permanently require travellers to have been double-jabbed for the virus before letting them in..."

At least Shapps is being open about the grim future. Certain things follow from this statement.

* international travel is bound to decline. Isn't it?

* the virus will continue to mutate so at least annual boosters will be required "for ever more"

* the Tories are maintaining the focus on terrifying & brainwashing the young, the people who are least at risk

* historically, around the world, influenza has killed many many more people than Covid. The flu also kills the young, unlike Covid. All governments with even rudimentary health services will know this. Influenza vaccines exist and are given free to the elderly in the UK. Why hasn't the flu provoked this kind of global response? What's different now?

@halfhearted "given free to the elderly" for 'flu was expanded to anyone over 51 last year, so not just the elderly now. Whether it was popular or not, I don't know - I just ignored the offer, as it was too late to be of much use to me. I expect the trade will welcome the idea of boosting the demand for annual jabs every Autumn - you never know, there might even be another triple, or least double one available eventually.

“Menticide is an old crime against the human mind and spirit but systematized anew. It is an organized system of psychological intervention and judicial perversion through which a [ruling class] can imprint [their] own opportunistic thoughts upon the minds of those [they] plan to use and destroy.” Priming a population for the crime of menticide begins with the sowing of fear so as to place a population into the state of panic that primes them for a descent into the delusionary beliefs of a psychosis.
A particularly effective technique to accomplish this end is to use waves of terror. Under this technique the sowing of fear is staggered with periods of calm, but each of these periods of calm is followed by the manufacturing of an even more intense spell of fear, and on and on the process goes, or as Meerloo writes: “Each wave of terrorizing . . . creates its effects more easily – after a breathing spell – than the one that preceded it because people are still disturbed by their previous experience.
...While fear primes a population for menticide, the use of propaganda to spread misinformation and to promote confusion with respect to the source of the threats, and the nature of the crisis, helps to break down the minds of the masses. Government officials, and their lackies in the media, can use contradictory reports, non-sensical information and even blatant lies, as the more they confuse the less capable will a population be to cope with the crisis, and diminish their fear, in a rational and adaptive manner."
