Vaccine passports do little to stop coronavirus transmission at festivals, but should still be considered anyway to increase vaccine uptake in young people, scientists advising the Government have said. It’s the first time advisers have admitted the vaccines do not prevent transmission but have argued the illiberal policy should be adopted purely to coerce people to do something for their own benefit. The Telegraph has the story.
A newly released paper by the Environmental Modelling Group (EMG) shows that researchers admit that vaccine passes have a “limited impact” on the spread of the virus because even vaccinated people can have breakthrough infections, and immunity wanes over time.
However, they argue that they could be used as a “policy lever” to improve the number of young people being vaccinated.
The paper, which was submitted to the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) said: “Although vaccinated individuals are less likely than others to be infectious, it is important to recognise that, whilst protection against severe disease is very high, protection against infection is incomplete and that breakthrough infections can still lead to onward transmission.
“Emerging evidence shows that protection against infection wanes over time, the longer the duration since attendee’s last Covid vaccination, the less indicative vaccination status could be of protection against infection.
“For these reasons vaccine certification, per se, is likely to have a limited impact on reducing transmission at festivals. However, it should be noted that the introduction of vaccine certification has been linked to increased vaccine uptake.
“Given higher vaccine complacency in certain groups, such as youth who perceive lower risks of infection, this intervention could be an additional policy lever to increase vaccine uptake and population level immunity.”
Critics of vaccine passports have long argued that even fully vaccinated people are capable of catching and transmitting the virus and so certification should not be used to stop people from attending events or travelling.
But it is the first time that Government scientists have admitted that they could be used primarily for forcing people to be vaccinated, rather than to stop the spread of the virus.
The Telegraph article notes the new report suggests the Government is again considering vaccine passports for mass events such as summer festivals. Let’s hope this is just an aberration from the modellers rather than something the Government would be foolish and wicked enough to implement. When is the Government going to let the emergency – including all vaccine-related requirements – end?

If they declare the “emergency” over the injections will no longer be permitted as they are under Emergency Use Authorisation (EAU).
From the many people I have spoken to, most believe that the injection has gone through all the testing and authorisation that a vaccine would normally go through. If governments suddenly stop giving out the injection, people will suddenly realise that it was under EUA.
It will be interesting to see how governments are going to get around this.
Perhaps western governments will get together, stop testing people, and declare that COVID has been banished from the Earth by the miracle of the mRNA vaccine?

These pseudo-scientists should be served with a writ that threatens them with legal action for mass murder (or attempted mass murder) or criminal negligence in causing death and bodily harm to large numbers of people by willfully ignoring the mountains of vaccine injuries and deaths and the rise vaccine acquired immunodeficiency syndrome leading to a massive spike in all-cause mortality in the high vaccination countries. So EMG says that vaccinated people are less likely to be infectious – well that’s a lie. All the data shows that the vaccinated are much more likely than the unvaccinated to be tested positive for Covid19 and when they do there is no difference in the amount of viral shedding. As the vaccinated have fewer symptoms they are less likely to do what most people who are ill do, which is stay at home and recover. Instead they are more likely to mix and indeed spread the disease further. ‘Vaccinations’ and ‘vaccine passports’ were never about public health. Hasn’t it been generally agreed upon that natural immunity is far superior to anything that any experimental jab can offer?
If you have a positive test (for whatever reason) you will be provided with a positive test identity number (as well as being hounded from pillar to post by NHS stalkers), whether it be PCR or LFT (proof of positive test).
Assuming you survive your affliction, you will have proof that you’ve had it, survived, and are therefore confirmed to be a naturally immune super-being.
Ergo, If you need to prove to anyone your status as non jabbed but immune and unlikely to be a carrier, or vulnerable to shedders, offer up your test proof of CONVID survival.

We need to wake up, learn the lessons of this pseudo pandemic and draw some red lines while we still have time.
There must be no more compulsory testing, monitoring and enforced medication of any kind, and vaccine passports/certificates must be scrapped entirely.

They say in this article that protection against serious disease is high… This is highly questionable and especially when you add back in the people they have (intentionally) taken out who received their vaccine during the previous 2 weeks… The fact is though that hardly anyone in the population is at risk of serious illness from this and especially the young. Another fact also is that there is much evidence now that these vaccines put you at risk of other very serious and life threatening illnesses such as blood clots, heart problems, cancers, neurological illnesses, autoimmune etc … So what’s it to be? my two daughters were going with their uncle (very pro Johnson’s bull crap) as a delayed Christmas present. Unfortunate my eldest was sick and could not go.
so as a substitute they said my wife or I could go.
now the problem. I won’t ever use a covid pass, nor will my wife (who has had Covid twice is not in a risk group and therefore does not wish to have a vaccine.
So what’s the response from my family ? An attack and bullying words we were told to “get a test”. as they accept that with the NHS app apparently. We said no. We are not ill !

I think they can do anything they want provided it doesn’t break any kind of equalities/anti-discrimination law. I don’t think being a covid sceptic is a protected characteristic, though threatening them might work. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere that requires me to go through this kind of thing, and be surrounded by people who are happy to go along with it.

They allow you to take one of their crappy tests to have that on your NHS app in order to get you used to using the app, and then later on only having a vaccine counts, they have done this in other nations, France being one.
I had issues with my siblings, one of whom repeatedly cancelled me whenever I gave an alternative view of the ‘pandemic’ and the response to it. In the end I politely told her that if she needed anything she could ring me otherwise I don’t want to hear from her and that I hope that in a couple of years I will be able to call her and apologise for being wrong.
I can guarantee if I’m right hell will freeze over before I receive an apology – she’s a vicars wife!

I’m with you on the app – no way I’ll use any kind of government software to help me be an ‘approved person’. I’d love to de-register myself from the NHS and not even have them know I exist, but I don’t suppose that is possible (I have private healthcare).
