Today at 10:30am near Stiglmaierplatz in Munich – not far from my old apartment – a 26 year-old asylum seeker in Germany named Farhad Noori drove his Mini Cooper into the rear of a Verdi trade union demonstration. He evaded the marchers’ police escort and ran down 28 people, before officers opened fire and managed to subdue him. Two of Noori’s victims, a mother and her young son, ended up under his car. The young boy had to be resuscitated on-scene by emergency responders and it is uncertain whether he will live.
(All media are presently withholding Noori’s family name, but your intrepid blogger discovered it – and his social media accounts – through his own researches. In this way I can offer you a modest second-order ‘exclusive’. Believe me, I take no pleasure in this.)
This was the second automobile attack on innocent bystanders in public since Magdeburg in December, when the Saudi migrant Taleb al-Abdulmohsen drove a rented BMW into a Christmas market crowd, killing six and injuring 299. To this terrible tally comes the knife attacks in Mannheim, Solingen and Aschaffenburg. This singular and exceedingly rare category of crime – which has become a symbol for the decay in domestic security associated with mass migration – presently claims a nine-month toll in Germany of 12 dead and 343 wounded. The latest attack is additionally poignant, because it follows the Green and Social Democrat blockade of a bill to restrict migration in the Bundestag on January 31st. Among other things, the Left parties withheld their votes because Alternative für Deutschland supported the legislation.
Noori fits what is by now a well-established pattern: he is a native Afghan who came to Germany in 2016 with the rest of the Merkel wave; he was known to the police for theft and drug offences; after the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees rejected his asylum application, he received a visa of tolerated stay anyway.
Like al-Abdulmohsen, the Christmas market attacker, Noori also had a large social media presence, with 68,000 followers on Instagram and another 33,000 on TikTok. On Instagram one finds pictures he posted last year of himself standing next to the Mini Cooper used in today’s attack:
Noori was primarily a competitive bodybuilder, but he was also a pious Muslim; Der Spiegel notes that some of his final social media posts contain “Islamist content”, which seems to be a reference to TikTok posts like this one. In apparent video of his arrest this morning, Noori can be heard shouting “God is great” over and over.
What will happen now is the very same thing that happened after all of these other attacks. Politicians will tell us that these events are unacceptable and that Germany must enact grave changes to prevent them in future. Then there will be renewed marches to celebrate diversity and oppose ‘the Right’, because the most important victims of migrants attackers are of course all the peaceful Muslims they did not attack. Around this time we will be warned against over-generalising and overreacting, and then the story will slip from the headlines until the next time.

Being a competitive bodybuilder is surely an expensive hobby – food, gym time, supplements, steroids, lots of time and energy, time off to go to competitions, wax to remove hair. He must have had a well paid office job offering flexible working. Also how can he afford a fancy Mini – they are not cheap either?
The people targeted were pro-immigration Leftards so if this doesn’t act like a massively harsh wake-up call I don’t know what will.
We’ll see. An acquaintance of mine got mugged for his fancy bike on Hackney Downs by a group of youths, in broad daylight. As a London cyclist, confrontation of various kinds was a daily occurrence for me. Depending on how many there were, how thuggish they looked and how aggressive I was feeling, I would have either given them a VERY wide berth or tried to look too mad to bother with. My friend decide to pootle past them because they were black* and he didn’t want to seem (to himself – who else would have known?) “racist”. I don’t know if he has woken up a bit since as I don’t dare/have not the energy or will to talk to him any more.
*I would have given pretty much any group of youths in Hackney a wide berth, regardless of race, unless they were Hasidim.
Most of all I want that little boy who was in the pushchair and ended up underneath the car with his mother to recover and be okay. Any deaths and life-changing injuries suffered are on the government, as always when it’s a migrant that shouldn’t even be in the country;
”After an Afghan migrant drove his vehicle into a left-wing Ver.di demonstration in Munich, injuring at least 28 people right before national elections, the leader of Bavaria, Christian Socialist (CSU) Prime Minister Markus Söder, is calling for “political consequences.”
“It is simply terrible when you get the news again that someone has driven a car into a crowd of people,” said Söder at a press conference, while saying it was likely an intentional attack.
“We react prudently to every attack like this, but I can also tell you that our determination is growing. This is not the first case, and who knows what else will happen,” Söder explained. In addition, the incident must have consequences, Söder said, according to German news outlet Tagesschau. “We cannot go from attack to attack and show concern (…), but must actually change something.”
Notably, he is the leader of the state where this and other terror attacks have occurred, so presumably, political consequences could also mean removing him from power, but that is not likely what he would suggest.
Meanwhile, the AfD released a statement and a prediction, which Remix News reported: “The driver who drove a car into a Ver.di demonstration in Munich is an Afghan (26). Prediction: Like the perpetrator in Aschaffenburg, he will also be known to the police in CSU-governed Bavaria and will be required to leave the country – and will be classified as ‘mentally ill.’”

Remarkably, Markus Söder, the first minister (Ministerpräsident) of Bavaria, has referred to this as “probable terror attack”. That the target was a march of a left-leaning union for civil servants (among others) is certainly just coincidence.
Vehicular Jihad: The Cringing Coward’s Way.
Like stabbing little girls.
Time to lay some candles, flowers and teddy bears and demonstrate against the “far right” who want to divide us.
Then things will carry on as before.
Nice car, by the way. Whatever the guy was doing, he must have been well paid.
Nice car, nice trainers, nice haircut, nastiest conceivable piece of work.
Would have had none of these in Afghanistan. Recipient of largesse of German economic prosperity and/or handouts. Intolerant awardee of visa of tolerated stay. All prostrate and face Mecca.
Go figure, Greens and Social Democrats.
“diversity is our strength ”
the attacker was suffering from mental health issues.
Under Rayners laws this article would fall under Islamaphobia.
“don’t look back in anger”
go lay lots of flowers the odd teddy bear and some nice words. Send a political leader to the scene with cameras to look at the flowers etc.
A note out to the public that lessons will be learned.
We all know they won’t be, give it a few weeks another massacre, and a repetition of all of the above.
We are governed by cowards, appeasers and colluders
And another. Same common denominator.
Hardly the type of guy who would do something like this. Inside job?
Farhad’s IG/Tiktok accounts have been removed, without a trace it seems…
