Dear Professor, in the real (not academic) world, brevity is generally considered to be a virtue. Though I do realise that in Academia, the opposite may be the case.
In the legal world, however, detailed arguments reflect the complex precision of law. If Dr David in trying to precis his somewhat lengthy articles, I imagine that those people who appreciate the comprehensive explanation, would be raising half a dozen request for further detail.
You can see just looking at the same two month period over the last several years, the increase in how many you’re getting;

Think of Escher’s tower, all routes are up.
Thanks for this long and detailed analysis, and the rational gloss to what has become a deeply deranged system.
Some good news from here in the EU, if it gets the go ahead;
”The European Union is moving toward allowing asylum deportation centers outside its borders, a policy long pushed by the Netherlands, according to the Telegraaf. The plan to create “return hubs” was presented by European Commissioner Magnus Brunner on Tuesday, which he referred to as “the missing piece” in European asylum and immigration policy. Brunner pledged that unaccompanied minors and families with minor-age children will not be forced to wait in the return hubs.
The return hubs measure aims to establish facilities where rejected asylum seekers will await deportation to their countries of origin. The Dutch government has been a strong advocate of such measures, with Prime Minister Dick Schoof’s Cabinet pushing for Uganda as a potential location for a deportation center.
The EU’s existing return system, established in 2008, has been widely criticized for its ineffectiveness. Only about 20 percent of rejected asylum seekers are actually deported. A major obstacle has been the reluctance of home countries to accept their nationals back, leading some EU member states to call for punitive measures against uncooperative governments.”

Seems to be very similar to the Rwanda scheme that was never given the chance to show whether or not it would act as an effective deterrent. Quite how the EU will deal with endless appeals from the ECHR to a scheme like this remains the big question. If the EU can make it work will 2 faced Kier suddenly realise it’s a good idea and try to introduce something similar in the UK?
‘If the EU can make it work will 2 faced Kier suddenly realise it’s a good idea and try to introduce something similar in the UK?’
I suspect the Downing Street tool would try to capitalise on any success the EU scheme may have and use it as a lever to rejoin the EU…
1) To make mentally deranged, sad muppets feel better about themselves and help them feel superior to others.
2) To help some unholy coalition of evil bastards destroy White European civilisation.
3) Not for my benefit, nor my family nor my nation.
How many years has this been a ‘thing’, then? I don’t know what they’re chanting;

Wild horses wouldn’t drag me to an elite football match these days. Would rather watch the local Sunday League games.
Were I the Martian I would take one look at this, say it was utter madness and hightail it home.
So it’s not “The Great Replacement” then ! Thank goodness
“What is the Asylum System For?”
It’s an excuse for young black guys to get an anchor embedded in British soil
Brevity!
Fast tracking as many immigrants as possible whilst pretending to do something about it.
It is a deliberate programme, we are being invaded and the NGO’s are the facilitators of the invasion, they take money from the elites and Governments and transport the people who will surplant us. We are nothing to the Carneys, the Von der Layens, the Soros’s etc we are just ants in an ant farm.
No wonder the asylum screening system is overwhelmed due to the ridiculous rules and regulations in place to support ‘irregular migrants’. The ‘support services’ providers must be rubbing their hands with glee at every arrival on our shores of the leeches. ££££ to be made in the laundering of taxpayers money to fund private enterprises. There’s gold in them thar
hillsboats and lorries…Perhaps the poor overworked souls in the asylum screening services would benefit from some help to expedite the processing and effective ‘management’ of the asylum seekers? I’m sure there’s a pool of wise volunteers, ready and willing, who will gladly give up their time in order to put the ‘Great’ back into Britain by increasing the screening services personnel! I’m thinking especially of the grey army, those who were robbed of their winter fuel allowance so that those monies saved could be utilised elsewhere – such as funding the ever increasing asylum seekers merry go round and free for all for everyone – except the downtrodden indigenous peoples of our land.
Me, I’d gladly give up my time – I’d volunteer for overtime, unpaid of course, to rapidly process the applications. The intrinsic reward to me – the feel good factor – would far exceed any monetary reward.
Reporting for duty, Sir! When do I start?
Of course those ‘service providers’ you describe don’t want any extra help, they are quite happy with the performance levels as they are… because the longer it takes, the more they get paid for their ‘service’, including provision of hotel accommodation if they run that as well. It’s rather like the companies building and running wind farms – they are subsidy farmers… and sometimes they make a bit of electricity to sell on the side.
The difference between the last and now seems to be, we’ve allowed all these ‘service providers’ to flourish, whereas in the past government employees would have provided these services, and would therefore have been severely limited
Come to the UK to be managed.
I hope that Islington, and other lefty areas, get plenty of illegal immigrants to manage. They then can enjoy the ‘benefits’ of this cultural diversity.
The former Queen’s Chaplain, Reverend Gavin Ashenden, said,
“The asylum system is POLITICAL DECEIT.”
And the basis of that political deceit is Communist/ Fabian Subversion, encapsulated in the Evil Marxist “Cloward-Piven Strategy” devised by two American Traitors, one of whom is still preening herself about the success of their strategy even in her old age: Frances Fox Piven. Both should have been imprisoned for TREASON. Communists in Britain have long been also implementing this strategy, illustrated by the Fabian logo of themselves smashing the world with sledgehammers to remake it in their own image.
The American Subversion is described in the following article:
The Cloward–Piven Strategy – by Chadwick Hagan
“The strategy wishes to accelerate the downfall of capitalism by inundating government systems with unmanageable demands, racking up enormous national debt, and EMPLOYING TACTICS LIKE UNRESTRAINED IMMIGRATION.”
“THIS APPROACH SEEKS TO BREAK SOCIETY AND SYSTEMS BY OVERBURDENING THE SYSTEM.”
“The Cloward-Piven Strategy is so evil because it deliberately seeks to undermine and destroy the very foundations of society. By intentionally overloading the welfare system, the strategy creates intense chaos and promotes economic collapse. This approach isn’t about helping the poor but rather about using the poor as pawns to achieve a radical agenda.”
“The strategy’s endgame is to force a crisis that allows for the implementation of socialism or communism through government force. Instead of fostering independence and self-sufficiency, it creates a cycle of dependency and control. By pushing society to the brink, the Cloward-Piven Strategy threatens to replace a free and prosperous society with one dominated by government overreach and authoritarian rule, making it not just misguided but deeply malevolent.”
