There are many potential hazards of Net Zero but who’d have thought being decapitated might be one of them? According to the Mail it seems that Storm Gerritt had the same effect as trying to do a crash dive in a Tiger Moth:
Shocking footage showed the energy generator in Ayrshire, Scotland, wracking up speed before the blades suddenly come loose and are flung across a seemingly deserted field in opposite directions.
Loud crashes are heard as the debris lands on the ground, while bare trees surrounding the lone turbine are blown back and forth.
Just for good measure, the decapitated wind turbine then burst into flames:
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted to reports of a fire within a wind turbine at 10.28am on Wednesday, 27 December near Newhouse Farm, Sorn.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene, the fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of firefighters.
“The crew left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
The bad news is that if wind turbines costing £3 million each are going to fall to pieces and turn into burning scrap every time there’s a gale, won’t that affect global warming? But every cloud has a silver lining because even if wind turbines really are that vulnerable to – er – wind, they can still make a nice bonfire and warm the neighbours up. All except those (including the local birdlife) who’ve been scalped by the turbine blades as they whizz across the lonely countryside like boomerangs thrown by a race of giants.
The wind turbines are in good company though. As we all know, electric cars like bursting into flames at the drop of a hat and don’t even need a howling gale to do so. What’s next? Solar panels that slide off roofs and crush people?
Still, let’s be fair folks. It’s all in the spirit of R&D. This is new technology after all. Why would it ever have occurred to anyone in the wind turbine industry that their whirligigs might need to withstand unheard-of winds of 85 mph or more? Now with this experience behind them they’ll be sure to ratchet the spec up to at least 90 mph and perhaps use something stronger than papier-maché to build them out of. Onward! Until the next storm…

Stop Press: There’s even better video footage of the wind turbine’s blades spinning off on Instagram here.

Profanity and abuse will be removed and may lead to a permanent ban.
If these warped and psychologically broken individuals get their way most of British history and culture will be erased. The assault on our literature is bad enough but it’s now coming at us from all angles. Ironically, I’m offended by their offensive behaviour. They’re disgusting.
100% in agreement Mogs.
The speed at which the history and traditions of this country are being vandalised and destroyed is staggering to witness. And nobody in Westminster will speak out. Thousands of years of history being erased and a population becoming lost, soulless and adrift.
People need their history, we are a hefted species. A sense of belonging, of knowing where we came from is essential to our well-being.
Those who survive the depopulation will be soulless, mindless blobs and this will ensure the destruction of our species. Without freedoms enterprise and creativity will die. We will literally reach a dead end.
Creativity and inspiration cannot be ordered up by a machine and plucked from an Amazon warehouse shelf.
For now it will be up to us to keep our histories alive. As best we can.
The signs of what has happened have been there for a century, but the ideas of the likes of the Frankfurt School were about doing things gradually. It’s a bit like some people building a giant axe over our heads: they spent 70-odd years slowly building it and we got used to them being there and ignored them. When the axe finally fell, it was swift.
We’ve allowed our institutions to be overrun with traitors for decades. We had people like Kim Philby undermining our operations 70 years ago. The upper classes have been overrun with communist sympathisers going back to the fall of the Tsars, believing they’ll be the rulers of their new utopia when they destroy the middle class.
As I’ve said many times, in the past people would have packed up their belongings in a repressive regime and moved somewhere else, as the Pilgrim Fathers did. We no longer have that option: we’re imprisoned by passports, our communications are monitored, our movements are watched by satellite and a drone can drop a bomb on us at a nod from a minister.
And obviously our culture is ruined. Beloved children’s books are rewritten and, on television, beloved characters are ‘reimagined’ as sock puppets spouting extreme left wing ideology, taking them away from many of the people who loved them. At least America is creating an alternative economy: people are creating their own independent comicbook brands, people are self-publishing. As much as the tools of technology have been used by the bad guys to enslave us, they’re allowing a resistance to build a replacement infrastructure that does the thing the extreme left fears the most: it ignores them.
That’s probably an accurate description. But it’s sort-of a case of the revolution eating its own children, ie, it’s just you (the British) getting the tried-and-trusted German treatment because – in reality – you’re all just Nazis, too (insofar these people are concerned). In Germany, you can’t even have something like a memorial for the victims of the firebombing war which isn’t routinely vandalized because even the toddler in the cradle is nothing but a perpetrator of evil if he belongs to the wrong race.
That’s a bit like being in an abusive relationship with a violent partner: Originally, it (supposed to reflect that this applies to people regardless of their sex) was only targetting others but given its nature, it’ll always turn on the closest person sooner or later.
The Cenotaph isn’t a War Memorial of cousre, but a memorial to lives lost in war, not that I expect some woke idiot to understand the difference.
The Cenotaph is a National monument and for the decent folk of this country given appropriate deference and respect. Like most symbols it is more than the sum of its parts.

This is a more realistic appraisal of the article:
I urge everybody to read this full-frontal, blistering, no-holds barred demolition job on the proposed, upcoming Coronavirus Commemoration.
Just in case anyone has forgotten what Bozo and Co did to the people of this country here is a brutal reminder. It was and is a Crime against Humanity.
I am book-marking this one.
Short version: In face of an unprecedented, lethal threat, the government saved the nation by doing what it did. During most parts of WWII, the people crewing the bombers (statistical chance of survival 0) were being sacrificed for a greater good. This time around, it was first the general population and then, the vaccinated. The effect of COVID vaccination on the outcome of the so-called pandemic was even smaller than the effect of trying to burn down everything ever built in Germany in about 1000 years on the outcome of the war (ie, ideally, COVID vaccination was only ever meant to be an add-on to all the other pandemic policies). But – hey presto! – at least the chance of surviving the covax were much greater.
Rejoice!
If this list has only recently been written the Met is at fault. They should long ago have had lists of places and people at risk of terrorist attack so they could be protected. I suspect this list will be used to authorise police officers to stand back and allow desecration or destruction by the left.
Amusing that a memorial to the dead in war should be targeted by people who have declared war on our civilisation and are gutting it from within. We’re living in a cross between Atlas Shrugged, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Brave New World and the works of Nigel Kneale (I’m thinking the likes of The Year of the Sex Olympics.)
We need to defund and abolish the so-called ‘Metropolitan Police’ as soon as we’ve created a proper replacement police force.
“extreme right and left-wing protesters”
Let’s get this straight there is no such thing as “far right” but almost everyone who works in the Civil Service, Education, Parliament, Police, NHS is far left and a cancerous threat to the country.
