You know you’re on the right track when the NYT expends energy having a go at you.
As an outside observer, it appears that DeSantis has a longer future than the others, just on account of his age. Incidentally, the ratio presented in the graph is virtually meaningless, if used to demonstrate cause and effect.
He surely has a good chance in 2028 to be POTUS, whoever wins out of Trump and Biden in 2024. Biden will continue to be a disaster, and if Trump wins he will most likely not deliver, like he largely failed to deliver last time (apart from appointing Supreme Court justices who apply the constitution as it was written and meant, and not starting wars) and probably would not stand again anyway.
Looking on the bright side, at least there is an 8 year limit for presidency over there.
A better chart would be excess deaths and vaccination rates by state compared to the relationship in 2020 before the mass injections began.
The author seems to have failed to understand the logic behind these articles. It’s really quite simple: New York COVID-measured itself into knots and hence, all so-called COVID happened despite its health policy and were unfortunately, unavoidable. Things would have been much worse without it, that’s for certain. In contrast to this, DeSantis allowed mass killing events like music festivals to go on. So-called COVID deaths in Florida thus happened because of his health policies or rather, lack thereof, and all or at least most of them could certainly have been avoided, had he only masked, closed, tested and vaccinated more aggressively.
These are two counterfactuals whose truthfulness cannot be asserted but is a matter of belief instead. And DeSantis political opponents do believe in them.
You are having a laugh aren’t you? either that or you are mental
I’m not responsible for this nonsense, I’ve just put it into words. That’s how these people are thinking. Or what they believe to be thinking.
These are two counterfactuals whose truthfulness cannot be asserted
^^
This should have been assessed and not asserted.
Blame away!
DeSantis WILL be president of the United States one day, if not this time! A leader like this is sorely needed in the west
Of course De Santis has to be wrong..he can’t be allowed to run as POTUS…
can you imagine..when the next pandemic comes, if the USA have an actual President who asks real medical questions..and who wants facts and figures?
Who is aware of the shenanigans of the last lot, and wants to avoid that?
LOL..no chance….
