“Hot weather: New health alert as weekend temperatures to hit 30°C”
And just like that we all become Pavlov’s dog…
Quite. Wonder if they’re going to measure it at RAF Coningsby by the jet aircraft exhausts like they did last year…
About time, let’s get “flocking” to the beaches. It’s been an incredibly cold June so far, almost six months since the big snowfall, and little warmth since. It’s very cold, this “global warming” that the puppets keep flapping their strings about.
So here it starts again, the great new ritual of the fear of Summer.
Along with the new fire setting season!
Start a fire, point at it, and shout “Climate change “
I made a return trip to Holmfirth last night and tied to a couple of farm gates were large plastic banners:
“WARNING! Wildfires. Take Care.” and some other words which I could not make out.
Wildfires are very rare on moorland and the few we have had are always started either accidentally or “accidentally on purpose” if you know what I mean.
Complete BS and fear-mongering.
Agreed! fire services around the western world (usa, Europe etc) report regularly that 85% of all wildfires are caused solely by human activity either intentional, accidentally or carelessly!
Nature hardly gets a chance compared to us pyromanics!
Basically the new normal is to live in fear of everything, including each other. And if you can’t be fearful you must at least live in a permanent state of outrage. Acute stress we are adapted to deal with, chronic stress will screw up your health over the long-term no end.
Fear of everything is what all tyrannies require of their populations so that they can survive. Change fear to anticipation of success and use sharp satire to puncture the self-inflated bubble of tyrants. Identify, locate, eliminate.
I listened to the World Council for Health conference at the weekend, and Prof Norman Fenton finished up his talk with the following anecdote:
‘At one of these meetings [of the climate change club], a scientist presented comprehensive evidence that a warming of 1.5 degrees centigrade would have a positive effect on the population of people in the the Northern hemisphere. That’s because far more elderly people die of cold than from heat. And in the UK alone, very convincing evidence was presented that would mean net, thousands of elderly lives were estimated to be saved annually. I was both surprised and comforted to hear this at such a meeting, until I heard what the speaker said next. The speaker then said, ‘but obviously this is a message that we must never promote publicly as it would compromise the movement.‘ ‘
Swap the word ‘movement’ for ‘religion’ and it all makes sense. I read that at COP27, they even had a symbolic breaking of tablets on Mount Sinai and ‘Ten principles of climate repentance’ being issued among the representatives of the ‘interfaith community’. I’m not a regular church goer by a long chalk (weddings, funerals etc) but see how they are watering down and minimising the Christian message everywhere, replacing it with this ‘interfaith’ nonsense. Climate change is a religion and I’m a heretic.
If ‘climate change’ is a religion, and I do not believe it is, then depopulation is one of its ten commandments.
We have far too many ‘experts’ and not enough actual productive work for them to do. So they come up with rubbish like this to fill the time.
Or in other words ‘Summer is here!’
Our local council has cut the grass on open land once in the last two years. It’s up to my hip (I’m six feet tall) in height and it’s getting dry. Soon we’ll be having fires starting and they’ll blame ‘climate change’, not incompetence and failure to spend our massive council tax on important things. Our city looks scruffy, with foot-high weeds growing out of gaps between paving stones and unkempt grassland everywhere. It has the look of almost post-apocalyptic neglect.
“It has the look of almost post-apocalyptic neglect.”
Which set me thinking….I wonder how this country WILL look post Apocalypse. I mean it’s not a case of if but when.
North Korea on steroids?
It is deliberate ‘re-wilding’ of public spaces and roadsides. As well as lovely butterflies, it also encourages rodents and larger mammals such as rabbits and badgers to make it onto the roadwith tragic consequences. All you need to work out if an idea came from the left of politics is to ask whether the apparant compassion is achieved at the expense of common sense.
“Apple TV And the Criterion Channel outrage film fans By censoring classic movie”
Why is this suddenly a thing? They’ve ben censoring films for years on TV – try watching Pitch Perfect 2 for eg and spotting all the cack-handed edits to remove any even mildly saucy jokes, even after the watershed. Never seem to edit scenes of murder and utter brutality though. Funny, that.
Apple TV were also responsible for the production of the series ‘Extrapolations’. Someone I know said it was the most terrifying thing he’d watched so I checked it out (first 5 mins) and have to say that this is the single most awful, badly acted, badly written load of climate change fear porn garbage that I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to see. It’s nonsense on a biblical scale featuring some of the Hollywood a’list in a virtue signalling mishmash of all that is wrong with the climate change narrative. Whoever wrote it was desperate to try and get in all the lies. I can imagine that this is designed to drum up support for the religion.
“Trans ideology is selling a lie” – “We can’t mend mental distress by removing healthy body parts,”
Let me fix that for you: “We can’t mend
mental distressthe cognitive dissonance caused by relentless propaganda by removing healthy body parts – but we can sure as hell confuse enough of them to make them self-mutilate and sterile…Re:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/tax/inheritance/nhs-workers-inheritance-tax-trap/
I can’t read the article behind the paywall. How has NHS staff dying from covid been defined? Death from an ILI – influenza like illness –
that was named covid and materialised due to a bio-lab engineered release of a substance for nefarious reasons– and / or the subsequent effects of ill-informed medical care that actively progressed the demise of the patient?Or dying as a result of the machinations associated with ‘covid’ and the scamdemic- such as rogue governments, effects of lockdowns, gross irregularities of ‘regulating’ agencies, mandating of highly questionable jabs and ironically – seeing as they worked for the ‘beloved’ institution – very limited access to diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative treatments culminating in death because their NHS employers main focus was perpetuating the myth of a ‘deadly virus?
Any death was sad but why should they have exemptions from inheritance tax?
That caught my eye too. I was wondering to myself; if Covid was never any worse than flu and it was by far and away elderly and already ill people most at risk, what would cause a working age person, who was fit enough to work in healthcare, to suddenly succumb to Covid when they’ve survived all previous flu seasons? In all my life, with many working in healthcare, I’ve never known a single work colleague die from flu. And we know the jabs are useless so we can’t give credit to those. So this is quite the mystery to me. Remember they were saying obese people were more at risk from Covid, so there is that possibility to account for some. Post-jab roll-out they could have misattributed deaths caused by the clot shots to Covid. But pre roll-out deaths? If you’re fit enough to work a respiratory virus isn’t going to take you out if you’re, say, <60yrs. So this is fishy to me, but what could the reasons be?
A lot of hospital based NHS staff get insufficient sun exposure, eat badly & are on the podgy side so are absolutely in the high risk group for having a bad outcome from what ever caused covid if they were then put onto the kill protocol of midazolam, morphine & ventilator.
Were they sacrificial lambs to keep the fear porn levels up??
I didn’t click on the article, and I’m not sufficiently interested as to try and bypass a paywall, but I’m wondering what the breakdown of NHS staff deaths are *from* Covid in 2020 vs Jan 2021>. We know the majority ( don’t know the figure off the top of my head ) got the jab, after all. I’d also be interested to see if sickness levels increased from the commencement of the death jabs. The data for these queries will be out there, I’m just too lazy to go looking and will wait and see if I come by it at some point. For now I’m just going to take an educated guess that most NHS workers ”killed by Covid” will have died post bioweapon deployment, but the cause of death will of course be whatever can inflate the ‘Covid numbers’ and support the narrative/PsyOp. After all, you could have died of *anything* but as long as you were within 28 days of a positive PCR then Covid did it.
Very true. Just that in a couple of trusts near me, particularly in March/April/May 2020 when the psych ops were at full max & a wait until you’re blue in the face before coming in plus the death protocols, there were a number of deaths of NHS staff reported following stays in intensive care.
One of the areas had recently switched on 5G & had one of the highest rates of ‘infection’ plus a large BAME workforce, who were also well represented in the death stats.
I too can’t be arsed going through the paywall
Inheritance Tax is a grotesque piece of taxation typically affecting only ordinary working people – Chuckles and the rest of the mob never pay it.
What an insult – we work hard and save hard all our lives and when we die some government agencies – all the bloody same – decide that 40% of what we leave behind goes not to our children but the state so that the likes of Bozo can spaff it up the wall.. Absolutely disgusting Chunts.
( I understand IHT is slightly more complicated but I am using the basics)
IHT is grotesque because in most cases it taxes money that is already tax-paid. Sure, pensions are saved tax free but are then taxed when paid out. If unused pension pots are inherited then they are taxed at the beneficiaries ‘marginal rate’. In other words, pensions are taxed money too. Even though we don’t pay tax on interest on ISAs, the money we put into them is tax-paid.
The clawing back of tax on monetary gifts made (from tax-paid money) in the last 7 years of life is also obscene. I think the best bet is not to give money gifts to your children or grandchildren but to buy stuff that they want for them.
Oh, and revive the cash economy too.
I fully agree. IHT should be abolished. I’m sure I’ve read recently that Sweden has done so and to the betterment of the economy.
I’m still perplexed why the useless unions rolled over and instead of defending and protecting their members rights, kowtowed to and were complicit in, the governments insane management of an alleged ‘killer’ virus. I wonder why the unions didn’t make staff / deceased staff families aware of whatever specific IHT exemptions had been created? Totally useless!
The Unions, or at least their leadership have been bought ellie and the ones in a position to wreck the most societal damage have received the largest brown envelopes. That’s teachers to you and me.

So that includes me. If my neighbours come round to check on me they’ll get short shrift. How the hell did we ever cope without health alerts for hot weather. It’s June. It’ll be warm.
We also find:
Heatwave? It’s June. It’s normal.
What will this Winter’s health alert consist of?
Warning – temperatures may hit freezing for a few months. If you cannot afford to turn your heating on shut all windows and doors and wear an extra coat!
There, done the job for them.
Sensible advice. Of course, it contradicts the appalling advice HMG previously gave to open the windows and sit granny / grandad near to the opened windows – to save them getting poorly
More evidence they want us harmed, disposed of, nothing positive in these graphs that’s for sure. This is for 0-20yrs old;

Hot weather alert – how utterly ridiculous. We recently had a lovely hot holiday in Spain. The sun was good for our vitamin D and the heat soothed our poor old joints ( as did the beer). It was well over 30 degrees every day. It has been one of the coldest springs/early summers I can recall here in the west country, particularly at night. Lighting a fire in June is not normal. Perhaps they ought to reflect on the chill and the reason for it…oh sorry, that’s just weather isn’t it? But if its hot it’s climate change.
Incidentally, I feel insulted, as a 68 year old, that I am thought of a some senile old fart that needs ‘checking on’.
Every morning lately, a cold wind has been blowing from the east or north-east and it is cloudy. Then the sky clears and we get hot sunshine! This is not normal. The dominant winds are from the south-west or used to be. I get a distinct feeling that they are manipulating the weather, altering the jet streams through HAARP or geo-engineering. I wonder if those winds from the east contain the residue of the depleted uranium shells that our government gave to the Ukrainians? It’s like that Tesco ad… “Every little helps (to kill us all off)”…
“All schools must comply…”
Well, that truly is compulsory State religion.
A very good deep dive into the impending doom that is the intended WHO takeover of the world when ( it’s not an ”if” anymore is it? ) our leaders decide to finally sell us down the river.
”The IHR in effect overrides a country’s domestic law (after being ratified), and whilst those pushing for the amendments may attempt to persuade otherwise, it is unlikely to be a point of discussion if passed (ergo Covid era 2.0) ignorance and control will permeate without equitable or objective recourse. This means that if the Australian government agrees to the amendments being put forward by the WHO, Australians, and other nations could be under the control of the WHO director-general during health emergencies. Thus, any legal challenges run the risk of acceding authority to international entities prompting further consideration of Australia’s obligation to its own Constitutional protections.
As many may recall, NSW, Australia was never under a State of emergency, but yet locked down, introduced harsh measures, prevented citizens accessing timely healthcare, women denied access to mammograms, children denied access to education, small and medium business were devastated, and people unable to see doctors in person if they were not vaccinated.
The resulting juxtaposition means that if the WHO Director-General under global emergency powers orders vaccine mandates, shut-downs, digital passports etc., the Australian government would be compelled to comply, as we seen with former Prime Minister Scott Morrison closing down borders and issuing quasi-mandates for all federal workers.
But as we know, a choice involves a person choosing whether they want to eat a hamburger or salad, not ‘you will become a participant in a global clinical trial and if you do not agree, you will lose your job, cannot leave your home, travel internationally, you will be stigmatised, discriminated against and ridiculed publicly for making that choice’.”

Yet another benefit for state employees which tax payers can’t enjoy. IHT exemption for NHS workers who died during Covid.
The only NHS workers likely to leave estates worth in excess of £350 / 700k will be the useless senior manager grades.
The announcement rubs the noses of the workers in the dirt, reinforces us and them and in cash terms means F A.
There’s an article on the BBC ‘news’ about Canadian wildfires causing smoke pollution in NY state.
Canada wildfires: Millions advised to mask up due to intense smoke
So wearing an N95 mask is about as good as sitting at home behind your net curtains or fly screen?
Of course they also slip in this:
That smoke smells suspiciously like bullshit.
Science doesn’t change only scientific opinion.
“Climate change is harming my mental health” – the alarmism is growing day by day and the discredited BBC are beating the drums ever louder. Apparently, eco-anxiety is getting worse. No doubt, this weekend’s hot weather will lead to more heated discussions about tackling climate change, more people losing their minds as the barometer creaks up to an unprecedented 30° C. Whereas most of us will be enjoying the hot weather, having bbqs, sunbathing in parks, splashing about in our sewage drenched seas, there will be a distinct minority slowly going insane. And why, may I ask myself, is that? Because the media, government, councils, entertainment industry, business, public sector, schools, universities etc are all aligned in spewing out the nonsense. “There is a climate emergency!” said someone about something once and suddenly they all say it. I can pretty much guarantee that very few have actually done any real looking into the subject other than accept what the IPCC say. Actually, I questioned my local town council on this the other day at a planning meeting, calling out the hypocrisy of not demanding that housing development builders make certain things mandatory: triple glazing, double insulation, EV charging points with enough KW power to charge a vehicle overnight, solar panels on the roof etc. They didn’t seem bothered. “Oh,” I said. “So it’s not really an emergency then.” So there is now an opportunity to call a public debate about it and if we can prove our point, then they will rescind the statement. I am eager to pick up the gauntlet and will let you know what happens.
From Dr Mike Yeadon’s Telegram Channel just now and I paraphrase slightly – there was no evidence of a pandemic and therfore there was no novel respiratory virus.
Essential stuff.

This nay be of interest to Mogwai and Jane d NL.
I hope a wealthy non-globalist conservative or libertarian group from the USA will buy the Telegraph (not anyone with the name Koch!!) I’m old enough to remember when Lord Black bought the Telegraph. It’s been reading like The Guardian for many years under the Barclay brothers, who famously bought Maxwell’s ailing The European after Cap’n Bob Maxwell went ‘bob bob bob!’ out of his yacht!
I remember the good old days when the likes of Bill Deedes, Mark Steyn, Barbara Amiel and Hugh Massingberd Montgomery had a column in the paper (actually my Grandfather did too!) and you could have a good laugh at Squire Haggard’s Journal. And Tom Utley leaving the Telegraph in 2006 was a shock, given his long familial association with the place.
The Telegraph has been going wrong for years, not least taking money from the likes of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in order to run a Stalinist-sounding ‘Global Health Security Team.’ You have the likes of Charles Moore and Janet Daley trying to keep the flag flying, undermined by the numerous left wing luvvie types pumping out garbage.
Crossing fingers for the future: we need a proper right of centre Telegraph back in place.
