“Musk attacks Britain over ‘stifling’ driverless car rules”

Who the fu@k ever voted or wanted driverless cars? Get a taxi if you dont want to drive and stop this beta testing on public roads!

Who voted for automatic transmission? Who voted for aircon in cars?

Who voted for cars?

I want a driverless car. A taxi and driver doesn’t sit just outside my house all the time waiting for me to use it.

Not quite the same is it, your aircon or transmission is a feature not a safety risk for other road users

“RNLI volunteers targeted by protesters in Dover and Portsmouth for rescuing migrants at sea are pledging to stand firm in the face of intimidation”

Then stand firm without donations!
Stop funding the RNLI until it stops enabling invasion!

Accelerating across the Polish border with Bunter aboard suggests that those Eastern European trains work better than ours could. I wonder if they had to throw out all the cake to lighten the load.

“The price of British citizenship” – In the Spectator, Swaran Singh argues that those who condemn Britain as uniquely or exceptionally racist clearly haven’t visited many other countries.

As exemplified in this conversation with Grok around getting Indian citizenship, accessing social welfare and buying a property:

Numerous versions of the “energy saving plug” are still available on Amazon and numerous other outlets – on Amazin they are frequently sold to people who also order beetroot complex supplement capsules!

Anger at BBC’s Muslim focus in 9/11 reports

That’s obscene. Even in Essex, I had several patients who lost work colleagues and friends in that outrage. My own daughter was staying in New York a few blocks down from the WTC and had hinted she night visit it before leaving for home… I spent my working day wondering if she was dead.

No Muslim patients ever mentioned it.

Compulsory lentils in Labour school meals shake-up

That would be all about Burnham’s commitment to devolution… towns get mayors, but the cabinet gets to decide what children everywhere eat.

I could cope with a couple of lentils in a steak and kidney pie.

Lentils form the base of one of my favourite curry side dishes.
They’ve suffered a bad press since the cook-ups done by Nigel(?) in The Young Ones.

Few of the front benches have a pulse. They are automatons. Probably only eat pulses from the strained looks on their faces.

Lentils contain carbohydrates such as raffinose-family oligosaccharides, which can be fermented in the colon and may cause gas in some people.

So we know what Andy Capp’s diet is. It explains his emissions.

German journalist Angelique Geray posed as a fan of Vladimir Putin on social media while investigating how covert Russian agents operate in Germany…Geray and other RTL journalists were able to observe the recruitment process firsthand. New agents were initially given simple tasks — taking a photo, picking up a package, or obtaining a SIM card. They were later drawn into more serious operations, though these “disposable agents” knew only their own roles and did not understand the overall plan.

“Katya’s” profile caught the attention of Jovica Jović, a member of the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW Political Party) whom RTL calls “one of the biggest names in Germany’s pro-Russian scene.” Jović invited “Katya” to meet. During their meeting, he spoke about his pro-Russian activities and hinted at the involvement of Russian intelligence agencies. Asked directly whether intelligence agencies in Moscow were directing his social media activity, he said, “Nobody knows. Well, I don’t know — in theory. In practice, I do know.” Later, when Geray approached him under her real name as a reporter, he denied taking part in a pro-Russian campaign.

According to RTL, Geray received a threatening voicemail after publicly revealing that “Katya” was a fake persona: “If you try to run, you’ll get a bullet!”

It’s all over Europe and here, murder and criminality on British soil:

‘Joshua Cammidge, from Swindon in Wiltshire…charged with assisting a foreign intelligence service and intending to commit or engage in conduct to prepare an act of sabotage…linked to the GRU Volunteer Corps, a group controlled by Russia’s intelligence services. 11 Sept 2026’

‘Former deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin…identified UK towns and cities…as potential targets. These are: Glasgow, Belfast, Fivemiletown, Barrow-in-Furness, Bolton, Telford, Aberporth, Merthyr Tydfil, Glasgow, Bristol, HMNB Devonport, Yeovil, Aldermaston, London, Stevenage, Ampthill, Derby, Sheffield, Warton & Samlesbury, Newton Aycliffe, Tyne & Wear, Edinburgh and Rosyth.’

‘The vial opened by Dawn Sturgess before her death had “enough poison to kill thousands” of people…the nerve agent Novichok. 2018.’

‘Alexander Litvinenko was murdered in London in November 2006 using a massive, overkill dose of the radioactive isotope polonium-210…carrying enough toxicity to kill thousands.’

Causing entirely justified scepticism, daily, about Putin’s protestations regarding attacks on Europe and this country…

I can’t see very much to get as excited about as you seem to do! You have combined a new, but as yet inconclusive trial, a strange list of potential UK military targets in the event of a war, about which Russia are hardly going to be unaware since they are listed in the UK Government’s 2025 Defence Industrial strategy (!), and of course the inevitable regurgitation about the ‘poisonings’ using Novichok and Polonium-210 – none of which have ever been actually proven to be down to the Russian state. In any event it’s all pretty standard alleged espionage blatherings that all countries engage in all of the time. So what?

Yet you fail to acknowledge the UK’s intense involvement in Ukraine within which, not only did our intelligence services conspire with USA to ultimately push Russia to start the SMO (not a ‘war’), but, through the actions of fat pig Boris Johnson, prevented the agreement between Ukraine and Russia that would have stopped the conflict after 3 months in 2022. This is all proven fact, despite the completely dishonest way in which MI6 etc work hard to control public opinion (successfully, sadly, for the main part) through relentless propaganda… Read more »

Did Putin just try to kill Boris Johnson?

‘Johnson recalled Putin’s response. “He sort of threatened me at one point and said: ‘Boris, I don’t want to hurt you but, with a missile, it would only take a minute’

‘Russia’s renewed assault on Ukraine since 2022 has shattered cooperative security. The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine closed in March 2022 and its staff members were detained. At OSCE HQ in Vienna, Russia has exploited the consensus requirement to impede decision-making, including blocking a regular annual budget and obliging other participating states to make voluntary financial contributions. Russia’s actions have shown contempt for OSCE values, set out in the Helsinki Final Act’

‘The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and The United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine.

the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and The United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon state party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear… Read more »
