Fury as NSPCC Says Male Teachers Can Supervise Girls in Changing Rooms

Under new guidance for schools, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children says male teachers ‘can’ supervise female pupils while they get changed at swimming pools and sports centres. The Mail has the story:

The child protection charity has removed a policy that adults supervising pupils while they change should be the same sex as the children from its latest safeguarding briefing.

Campaigners and MPs last night called on the NSPCC to reinstate the policy, and accused the charity of making the change under pressure from transgender activists.

The NSPCC’s previous long-standing policy said: “Adults who are supervising children getting changed should be of the same gender as them.”

But in the children’s charity’s latest “safeguarding considerations for changing rooms” briefing, this line has been removed entirely.

The NSPCC said it had made the change after a similar recommendation was removed from Department for Education (DfE) guidance that was updated this summer. But the DfE denied this last night and said no such recommendation was removed.

The NSPCC later said instead that it had made the decision based on a “variety of sources”.

Women’s rights campaigners said that instead of changing the reference from ‘gender’ to ‘biological sex’ – in line with April 2025’s Supreme Court ruling – the NSPCC “came to its own decision” to remove the safeguarding guidance entirely. …

Maya Forstater, Chief Executive of Sex Matters, said it is “cowardly, weak and hypocritical of the NSPCC to try to pass the buck” for scrapping the “common sense” policy. She added: “This NSPCC guidance was never about equality law, or even the Supreme Court judgment. It was common-sense guidance, based on years of experience about how to safely supervise children changing.”

Ms Forstater accused the charity of “failing in its duty to provide guidance on protecting children from harm” in a bid to do “what trans activists would prefer”.

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Baroness Sharron Davies, the former Olympic swimmer and campaigner, has blasted the NSPCC on GB News, saying: “I cannot see how anyone thinks this is okay.”

NSPCC’s Ratner moment

When I was at a grammar school many moons ago, we had a P E. teacher who was widely known to be a lesbian. Obviously, she supervised us changing but she also changed with us one time when we were at a holiday camp and completely stripped off. I remember being really startled and more than a bit embarrassed to see her stark naked. I’m a bit surprised that the question of having homosexual staff in a children’s changing room hasn’t also been raised but I expect that would be regarded as homophobia.

Well done for bringing up that very important point. That female teacher was deliberately trying to sexually tempt and corrupt the children in her charge, and should have been sacked.

In the same way, there is no reason for athletes such as football players to be forced into communal nudity in showers and bathing pools, and encouraged to physically embrace each other after every goal, unlike in other sports.

Not for the first time the NSPCC have pandered to the fetish wing of the rainbow brigade. An employee was fired in 2019 after he filmed sexually explicit videos of himself wearing a rubber suit while in office facilities, the toilet, and uploaded them to fetish pornography websites. The NSPCC needs a deep clean!

NSPCC – supporting an opportunity for mentally ill men to ogle (and abuse) girls.

Not really a surprise. I realised the NSPCC had gone woke when I saw their latest campaign advert.

All the depicted abusers were white and most of the children were ‘of colour.’ As for the helpline operator? You’ve guessed it – she was black.

No acknowledgment of a disproportionate percentage of this sort of crime being committed by a certain imported culture whatsoever.

Let’s face it – charities stopped being charities the moment the Charity Commission insisted anyone looking for charitable status had to sign up to some woke charter. They’re more accurately described as non governmental organisations these days.

As schools don’t have to follow NSPCC guidance, they can just be ignored.

However, if this gets blown up in the news, they might find their coffers will take a hit. Not sure they’re capable of looking that far down the line. Typical..

They probably don’t rely on public donations getting the lion’s share of funding from government (woke) foundations(woke) corporations (woke) and woke billionaires.

Oh, another institution that apparently has given itself the authority to issue us with “guidance”

There really is no shortage of people wagging their fingers at us telling us what to do and how to do it. It’s an epidemic.

If you are an adult and need guidance on how to supervise children who get changed for sports, then you’re probably mentally retarded and shouldn’t be supervising children in the first place.

If you’re a pervert and want to watch children getting changed, then I doubt “guidance” is the solution.

I suppose another aspect is that with large numbers of children identifying as the opposite sex, it is deemed impossible to have a teacher of the same sex as all of them.

In either case, the irrationality of the ideology (going back to Foucault justifying his own paedophilia, of course) trumps the actual protection of children in the real world.

Unbelievable. This charity is suppose be doing what it can to protect children, not cravenly bowing to the whims of confused men.

Some are confused (ie mentally ill). Others are simply evil and are exploiting an opportunity.

Basically encouraging other people to break the law (because they won’t be the ones who get prosecuted if a man’s supervising girls and vice versa).
I wonder what the ‘variety of sources’ included. I think we can guess.
