All New Vaccines in US to Undergo Placebo Testing, Orders Robert F. Kennedy Jr

by Will Jones
3 May 2025 5:00 PM

All new vaccines in the US are to undergo placebo testing instead of being tested only against other vaccines or drugs, under instructions from Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The Washington Post has the story.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. intends to shift the way vaccines are tested, a move that the agency said will increase transparency but that medical experts fear could limit access to vaccines and undermine the public’s trust in immunisation depending on its implementation.

The potential change outlined in a statement says all new vaccines will be required to undergo placebo testing, a procedure in which some people receive the vaccine and others receive an inert substance — such as a saline shot — before the results are compared.

“All new vaccines will undergo safety testing in placebo-controlled trials prior to licensure — a radical departure from past practices,” an HHS spokesperson told The Washington Post in response to questions about Kennedy’s comments on the measles vaccines and general vaccine policy.

Vaccines for new pathogens are often tested this way. But for well-researched diseases, such as measles and polio, public health experts say it makes little sense to do that and can be unethical, because the placebo group would not receive a known effective intervention.

HHS did not clarify how the change will be implemented and for which vaccines the testing would apply, nor did it define what the department meant by “new vaccine”. But the Government indicated it wouldn’t apply to the flu vaccine, which is updated year to year and which HHS stated “has been tried and tested for more than 80 years”. In response to questions about whether other vaccines previously safety tested would be newly scrutinised, the department focused on its concerns around the coronavirus vaccine but did not address other immunisations.

Kennedy has long disparaged vaccines, said they are not adequately safety tested and previously called for placebo testing for vaccines that are approved for use.

“Secretary Kennedy is not anti-vaccine — he is pro-safety, pro-transparency, and pro-accountability,” HHS said in a statement.

The HHS statement raised concerns among medical and public health experts who said the move could be a significant shift in how the country has ensured the safety of vaccines for decades, as well as cast doubt on vaccines that are safe, effective and key to public health. The potential change comes as public trust in vaccines continues to decline amid a growing measles outbreak and worries over Kennedy’s mixed messaging about immunisations.

Medical and public health experts also expressed dismay that the testing change could require coronavirus vaccines, and potentially others, to undergo costly and, in their view, unnecessary studies that would probably limit vaccine production and access — and leave more Americans at risk of preventable disease.

What does he mean ‘new’? What a shower this guy has become.

He wrote books, had/has a very successful website/online business (CHD) from his apposite appraisal that all these quackcines are harmful and poisonous. Autism, cancer, heart disease, even alzheimers etc directly linked to the stabbinations.

There has not been 1 single person ‘saved’ from these toxic injections. Millions dead since 1796. Tens of millions maimed.

Yet he does nothing. Pharma still rules the US Gov’t. Operation Warptard speed, the Rona plandemic etc. This is the one signal failure of Trump II.

You are absolutely right, FerdIII, but it’s better to have him in charge of this than anybody else. At least he’s trying to put things right.

I agree that RFK will have his work cut out trying to make headway against these corrupt vested interests.
“….will increase transparency but that medical experts fear could limit access to vaccines and undermine the public’s trust in immunisation….”
Large sections of the public have already lost trust in vaccination. After 3 years too many ordinary working people aroind me have joined the dots over the unprecedented numbers of rapid onset cancers and cardiac arrests. RFK might consider withdrawing indemnity from liability but I assume at this stage the establishment blow-back would be lethal.

You may be underestimating what it takes to achieve the sort of change you would like to see.

The way it seems to me Kennedy has initiated what is going to be a long hard battle to reform a very deeply entrenched, corrupt system.

So many pension funds invest in Big Pharma that the fallout would be massive if their shares crashed.
I believe Kennedy is acting very wisely even though we would like things to go faster.

Small steps, Fred. One at a time. Give the man a chance. He is fighting against an extremely powerful, entrenched establishment.

May I just point out the insanity of Big Pharma Scaremongering over normal childhood infections like measles!

Far back in the Mists of Time, when I was a kid, EVERYBODY GOT MEASLES IN CHILDHOOD! And nobody even went to the doctor’s about it, beyond parents just ringing up to get advice on making the patient comfortable, waiting for it to take its natural course like chicken pox and mumps, and then be glad you then had LIFETIME IMMUNITY from those natural childhood diseases. Scarlet fever was regarded as slightly more serious, but was also considered normal, and not something you went to hospital for.

The only thing kids got was a tetanus shot if a wound became infected, rabies shots for dog bites, and the whole family got the arm-scratch polio vaccine together, and the resultant scars to prove it.

Quite. And as Kennedy has pointed out recently, they seem strangely unconcerned about the massive increase in autoimmune diseases, allergies and other conditions like autism.

Good point. In my mind, Kennedy is a hero, along with Dr. Andrew Wakefield, and others who supported him, for trying to tell the truth to the public.

https://vaccinepapers.org/

These papers are priceless.
A massive read but at least skim through and share and send to your local GP
who I’m sure will be appreciative.

They’ve been available for years but occasionally the site “disappears”.

As a child In the 1960’s, if a kid on the street caught measles or chicken pox, you were sent round to play with them so you could catch it too.

Absolutely spot on, you are! I got the arm-scratch one wrong, though— I think that was the TB one, and the whole family went to get the Sugar Cube Polio one together.

Mothers & grandmothers knew how to deal with these things back then, as part of their vast repertoire of knowledge about raising kids and being a good housewife. To think that women were once actually proud to claim that as their profession, before feminism tried to make them ashamed.

When I was a child, catching measles or chickenpox seemed like an attractive option: off school for a week or two with no discomfort whatsoever.
Having somehow avoided chickenpox as a child, I caught it as an adult from my own kids and that was less fun: the spots made me look like an actor in a horror film. 20 years later I still have some pock marks!

Yes! That’s what we were always told as kids, to be glad to have those diseases, because if we caught them in adulthood, it would be much worse.

There were a few kids who disobeyed their parents’ instructions not to scratch the chicken pox, and had pock-marked faces in adulthood. But nobody really noticed that, and they managed to live a happy life without worrying about the scars, which I’m sure you did, too.

When I had measles in the 1960s, the local GP actually came round to see me at home; imagine that, these days!

Yep I remember my mother being ready with the calamine lotion to stop the measles spots from itching. I also had German measles twice which I was told was unusual at the time.

Big-pharma must not be allowed to hide behind ethical loopholes and finally commit to conducting proper safety trials. The measles/polio/HPV/pertussis etc vaccines are no exception, they too have inadequate safety data.

Viruses do not make people ill, environmental toxins do.

And cancer is caused by a fungus, according to some researchers, and since every fungus thrives in acidic conditions, it’s best to attack the fungus with alkaline things like ordinary bicarbonate of soda, otherwise known as baking soda.

Some researchers have had success by injecting cancerous tumours directly with bicarb.

If the ordinary man in the street even bothered to think just a little bit about vaccines i’ts a fair bet that he’d assume that the safety/efficacy of new vaccines would have been trialled against an inert ie harmless placebo, eg saline.

In fact the “placebo” is the old vaccine or a different type of vaccine! – , which itself was tested against er, its predecessor. etc. etc.

“Turtles All the Way Down”.
Brilliant book.

Kennedy has to tread very softly. You have absolutely no idea of the wealth and power of bigpharma and its captured allies. Put together, their wealth is aprox 2 Trillion Dollars.- or enough to keep Ukraine armed to the teeth until it runs out of bodies.

Yes, he is probably reluctant to charge too boldly ahead like Elon Musk did, and then be unjustly derailed by shrieking Leftists and envious colleagues all vying for power under the president.

hopefully this piece of news re placebo testing will come as a shock to the people who still trust Pharma, That vaccines are never tested against saline but against other vaccines or previous iterations of the supposedly tested new product.
If the previous incarnate caused heart issues but wasn’t seen as significant the new product also producing similar results will be seen as just one of those things as being nothing significant.
Plus injection of the placebo group as in covid means there is no group to measure future results against.
It has been a disgusting con by Pharma with the complicity of the health regulator that this has been allowed to go on for so long, just so Pharma can save itself cost and time.
