Convicted Terrorist Sues Landlord of Saracen’s Head Pub Because Sign Offends Him

by Toby Young
17 December 2024 11:00 AM

A convicted terrorist is suing a pub called The Saracen’s Head Inn because he’s “deeply offended” by the boozer’s sign. The Sun has more.

Khalid Baqa, 60, claims the “depiction of a bearded Arab/Turk incites violence” – despite him previously being jailed for preparing jihadi propaganda.

He also claims it is racist and is wants £1,850 from the landlord of the historic inn at Amersham, Bucks — and plans to take on 30 more with the same name if successful.

But publican Robbie Hayes, 52, fumed: “It’s a complete joke. This pub has been called The Saracen’s Head for 500 years.

“He’s just chancing his hand. Of course it worries me – you never know with people like this.

“No one at this pub is racist, we don’t believe the sign is racist and the name is simply historic.

“We won’t be pushed around and change hundreds of years of history just because some loudmouth wants to cause trouble.”

Baqa has filed a “claim of money” form – an application to county court for a sum of cash a person says they are owed, which was previously referred to as small claims court.

His submission says: “While walking through the area I was shocked and deeply offended by what I saw.

“I saw pub signage depicting a brown-skinned bearded Arab/Turk male with a turban and captioned ‘The Saracen’s Head’.

“This instilled worry and fear in me since it was clearly xenophobic, racist and inciting violence to certain people. I immediately complained to the pub and requested the signage be removed.”

He claims to have contacted the pub four times and visited in person, but staff there have no record.

In 2018, Baqa was jailed for four years and eight months after admitting five counts of dissemination of terrorist publications.

He told the Sun of his court claim: “I’ve always been offended by pub names like these but I’ve only recently discovered how I can challenge them online.”

He added: “I’ve stopped all the terrorism stuff now.”

But Toby Young, of the Free Speech Union, said: “It’s a bit rich for someone jailed for encouraging people to commit acts of Islamist terrorism to complain about the name of a pub inciting violence.”

Saracen is a term used since at least the Fifth Century to refer to Arabs, and later linked to Muslims.

The pub name Saracen’s Head is said to be linked to the Crusades and seen as a sign of respect of the fighting qualities of enemies.

Worth reading in full.

First question: What is a convicted terrorist doing here in the first place?

It would appear that the proof that their culture is totally incompatible with ours just keeps on coming. Doesn’t make a blind bit of difference though. Can you imagine if some British expat living in Dubai decided to sue because something or other about that country offended them? It’s crazy how BS like this only works one way. If he dares succeed in his case I think my brain might have to spontaneously combust with rage. 🤯

This heathen, for that is what he is, is a convicted terrorist and our thinking must be adjusted accordingly. He is most definitely not British and given his criminal record he no longer has any right to be in this country. As he has no right to be here he cannot in any realistic sense be entitled to use our legal system for his own ends. Furthermore, this illegal is hardly likely to be in gainful employment and will most certainly be claiming benefits. The very fact that he is seeking to abuse legal processes for his own satisfaction confirms he will never conform to our way of life.

This degenerate should be exported immediately. Syria has lost some manpower recently and his CV would make him a perfect fit for that country and his transfer would go some way to filling Rachel’s 22 billion £ black hole.

Yes, agreed. But it goes back to what you were saying about Muslim judges but also lawyers. There’s a fair amount of them about so if he ends up having dealings with any of them that are both sympathetic and biased then it wouldn’t even surprise me if he wins. But then what sort of precedent does that set? Every chancer will be running around claiming to be offended by everything. Well I’m offended by his minging tangoed beard, if you saw the state of him in the article I shared of this very story yesterday. Talk about a ‘ginger growler’! 😮 I’m also offended by Halal, and the cruelty involved with that, which is on the increase in tandem with increased Muslim incomers, but I don’t think I’d stand a chance of changing that particular ”cultural difference”, do you?

Wait a minute—I don’t understand.

How can you possibly be “offended by Halal, and the cruelty involved with that…”?

Halal is just an imitation of Kosher Butchery, as practiced by your own Tribe, since you have previously said you were Jewish, living in Holland and working in Belgium, and excoriated all other DS readers as “Anti-Semitic” for not supporting Israel’s War.

As for calling the terrorist a “ginger growler” for his dyed red beard, many Jewish people have red hair, as you know perfectly well, and the English slang term “ginger growler” is used exclusively to describe UGLY WOMEN. This and other terms you have misused in the past shows that English is not your first language.

I thought the term Ginger Growler was used exclusively in the past to refer to a part of Angela NobRayner’s anatomy that she used to flash at Boris to distract him at PMQs.

Are you concerned about Kosher animal slaughter?
Let’s be honest had Kosher slaughter not been legal then the Ms would not have any grounds on which to indulge in Halhal slaughter. We first started to give privileges to the Js before the Ms came along.

And Green King, who own that pub, have form for caving to pressure from snowflakes in the past, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he wins, then all 30 other ‘Saracen’s Head’ pubs follow suit, which is beyond mental. All it takes is for the whole Muslim community to band together on this, similar to the Batley school teacher situation, and apply pressure, then that’ll be it. None of them deserve to be in the flaming country if they can’t even tolerate a pub, yet the British public have to tolerate their whining and general anti-British hostility. It’s demented, it really is;

”Listen up it’s @PatrickChristys
is commenting on the Saracens Head Inn in Amersham where a former convicted terrorist Khalid Baqa is suing them. He served 4 years 8 months for disseminating terrorist publications.

Baqa has painted a target on the landlord. He says some in the Muslim community are happy to intimidate us, if we do:

“This country is gone.”

Well, if he’s successful with his case, I might try a challenge to any pub called “The King’s Head”. As a monarchist, I might find that offensive.
Oh, and I never did that “terrorist stuff” in the first place.

Look at this prat trying to make a show of the bar staff. Seriously, have even British Muslims never ever been inside a Wetherspoons?? Well McDonald’s also don’t have a Halal menu, as far as I’m aware, and I’ve seen plenty of them in there. They could just be eating that veggie crap though…Actually, does fish also have to be Halal?

”Wetherspoons:

Doesn’t do Halal
Doesn’t do a Desi Breakfast
Doesn’t do Masala Beans
Doesn’t do Karak Chai

“I feel a bit out of place here”
That’s because it’s British culture you’re experiencing.”

The little toe-rag in this video sounds as if he might have lived in the UK most of his life in which case he knows exactly what Wetherspoon’s is and offers. He needs shipping out to Pakistan for some real cultural enrichment. Scumbag.

If he wants that food and drink, with animals killed barbarically, he should sod off to where it is acceptable. They claim the Qur’an demands a humane death for an animal but it can take minutes for the beast to die in agony and distress while the ‘toxic’ blood is drained. How far would we get in a restaurant in Saudi Arabia asking for a nice pork chop.

Halal Butchery is a direct imitation of Kosher Butchery, just as the Koran is based directly upon the Jewish Talmud. Even in the 19th century, there were protests in Britain against the cruelty of Jewish Kosher Butchery.

That’s why we have laws against Halal/Kosher Butchery in Britain, but these alien cultures are allowed to violate our laws on animal welfare, just as they are allowed to violate our laws against Bigamy and Polygamy.

Interesting history this former revenue officer for Hackney council has. Not one but two convictions for terrorism, 2012 and 2017. Another bizarre conviction for defrauding an insurance company for failure to declare a motoring conviction, which only came to light when he was returning from one of his trips to Pakistan and the flight had to be escorted to Stansted because a terrorist with an outstanding charge against them was detected on board. This does link to something that has always puzzled me, which is the extended annual trips that certain communities make to their homeland with massive amounts of luggage, often oversized shopping bags or cardboard boxes. How do they afford these regular trips, the excess luggage charge and the time off work and what do they get up to when they are there?

I read years ago that many Ethnic Indian pensioners in Britain use their UK pension money to build huge mansions for themselves back home in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh, because the currency differences render them extremely wealthy back on the Indian Subcontinent.

What I find interesting is this: The sign and the name are clearly not “racist” by any reasonable interpretation of the word. I think what this bloke is really saying is that ANY reference to or image of people of his race/ethnic group/culture/religion made by white people is strictly not allowed – only people from his group are allowed to talk about or refer in any way to themselves. Actually I would be quite happy not to think about people like him at all!

I’ve noticed this when reading about identity politics in the USA. If anyone white refers to “blacks” they are racist, regardless of what they say, whereas those black people who like to stir up trouble go on and on and on about blackness.

Of course, within certain sects of the peaceful religion, it is Haram to create an image of a living being, so presumably this is what his problem is, either that or he is at the beginning of a campaign to close down all places that sell alcohol.

Yes the double standards are plain as day, but we’re back to the ‘perma-oppressed vs perma-oppressors’. We’re all assigned our roles in society by ‘TPTB’. It’s like how ‘black lives matter’ only when it’s a black victim and a white perp. Black on black violence and killings get conveniently ignored, and given the extent of gang culture in the U.K and U.S, that’s a pretty significant amount of cognitive dissonance many people demonstrate right there. Obvious other examples are the upcoming trials of Anthony Esan, who tried to kill a white British soldier, and the Rwandan-heritage child-killer, who killed only white children. Don’t see many black or Muslim people acknowledging the usual common denominator when it comes to the ethnicity of the victims and attackers. There’s a consistent theme there but would these people ever admit it, let alone ‘take the knee’? Never in a month of Sundays. It’s exclusively idiot, subordinate whites who carry on like this and it’s excruciating.

More proof of the incompatibility of cultures here. A reasonable question would surely be: Why come to a country where you intend to disrespect the laws, culture and customs in the first place? Don’t tell me they didn’t have any clue about what is accepted as normal in Western countries. I think the very worst thing a country can do is to appease these ungrateful gits and no way should they have budged an inch and swapped female teachers for males. What message does that give to them all? It’s like when they graduate and refuse to shake the female Principle’s hand;

”Refugees in Upper Austria are refusing to take German courses because they are taught by women. Some organizations have responded by replacing female teachers with men – an untenable situation, says Christian Dörfel, the State Councilor for Integration.
Integration and respect for the host country that provides protection looks different: In Upper Austria, a refugee refused to take the compulsory German course at the Wifi in Steyr because the course was taught by a female teacher. The Upper Austrian ÖVP integration minister Christian Dörfel described this unbelievable incident to the ‘Kronen Zeitung’.

“Anyone who rejects our way of life, questions our social achievements such as equality between men and women, or wants to put religion above state law has no place with us,” Dörfel angrily told the ‘Krone’.
But it gets worse: The politician also reported that in some organizations, female German teachers were replaced with male trainers in order to accommodate the refugees’ not infrequent refusal to be taught by a woman.
Dörfel now wants to put a stop to this. German courses are also about establishing respect for female authority. The German courses should also teach dialect as well as standard German. The state councillor plans to bring people willing to integrate and migrants who have integrated well to the forefront and use their success stories to motivate other immigrants.”

Or in case he pulls their standard trick of screaming blue murder on the airplane until they take him off it, tell him:

“Alternatively, your special bunk on a beautifully converted container ship awaits you, and don’t worry about feeling lonely, because there’s room on that ship for hundreds of your criminal mates, so you can all go home together. You’ll scream & scream, you say? Go right ahead, since only your container-mates will hear you. Seasick, you say? You’ll get used to it. Or would you prefer to be parachuted into Pakistan, along with your luggage? Have a nice trip.”

If only our government had the balls to follow the German lead. Perhaps the Saracen in the original tale, because I assume that’s how he sees himself will volunteer his head to replace the pub sign?

Yeah, it makes sense.
If any offense, including “hate crime” can be committed entirely on the perception of the “victim”, then why couldn’t a Saracen’s head be offensive?
Likewise, me wearing a red/blue/black hat could also be deemed offensive. Why not? Who’s to say you couldn’t find my hat offensive? I have no control over your feelings.

Will the paying of £1850 end the offensiveness, or will the pub be expected to take down the sign as well? MAybe Baqa himself should be pictured on the sign, while the pub changes its name to The Terrorist’s Rest…
