The Curious Links Between the Backers of the Assisted Dying Bill

by Charlotte Gill
11 December 2024 7:00 AM

Did the Assisted Dying Bill feel a bit… rushed to you? I suspect a lot of the nation is still in shellshock since it passed its second reading in the House of Commons – and that’s before we get to its implications, which have disturbed many Brits.

After it was backed in principle by 330 votes to 275, Kim Leadbeater, the Labour MP behind the Bill, said it would take two more years before any new law was implemented, explaining “it is more important to get this right than to do it quickly”. But “quickly” is exactly the manner in which she pushed through the legislation, as though there was some great urgency – and any questions would have to wait.

It’s not clear how some of those bills not in the manifesto get the nod whilst others do not. I wonder how those are influenced in the republic of the United Kingdom.

Thank you for digging into this. But what was found doesn’t really expose any conspiracy other than the ordinary fact that there is a “network” of people who agree with assisted dying. (I do not by the way.)

It was interesting to see that Humanists are some of the biggest backers. Without God, human life can easily become nothing more than a random pointless collection of matter.

I’m agnostic, God need not apply, if I meet him I’ll be more than happy to say hello mate.

Until then, I enjoy this “random pointless collection of matter” on my own terms. I really enjoy it, particularly being with my family, swimming in the oceans and rivers, skiing, riding my motorbike, hiking in the mountains… regarding the pointless random beauty of this random pointless collection of matter all around me.

These networks have a habit of eventually revealing themselves to be highly orchestrated.

A bit like the fact checking racket, which just seemed like a number of different concerned citizens and organisations each independently setting up fact checking services, only to be discovered to be highly connected and funded by a few also very connected sources.

Once again, it’s the random “cock up” or conspiracy dilema.

Assisted dying is just another step towards a totalitarian society.
Eventually the state will decide who can live and who can’t. Imagine a social credit type system where once you run out of credit your life will be terminated. Ultimately, apart from a few hundred criminals (Gates, Soros, etc type of characters) everybody will be a slave. Just like in the concentration camp / gulag system, whether or not you are kept alive will depend on your usefulness to the state.
That is the ultimate aim here. Don’t be fooled with the propaganda surrounding it (compassion, etc) – they are exactly the same propaganda as we saw with the Covid vaccines (safe and effective).

Interesting to hear the counter view from those who have down voted this. Are they trolls or simply ill.

Interesting article and good research.
I did wonder during the debate who would be paying for the Assisted dying and how this fits in with the Controlled Drugs regulations and lack of NHS staff and whether it could be a nice earner for a private company.

An interesting article… and yet I thought at the time that it was curious how many of the Main Stream Media and internet blogs (ahem) were so resolutely opposed to Assisted Dying mostly for avoiding the ‘slippery slope’ and yet also avoiding debate about unremitting pain. Perhaps there was as big another hidden organisation encouraging resistance to the bill?

That could be conspiracy thinking (one way or the other) but how could anybody not in the ‘know’ tell?

Anyone who reads Vernon Coleman’s frequently published ‘Passing Observations’ (e.g. https://expose-news.com/2024/12/11/arise-sir-harold-shipman/?jetpack_skip_subscription_popup) will understand why the Assisted Dying Bill is being pushed through Parliament.

Odd how left wing causes seek to characterise their proposals as freedom whereas all their values and objectives are the opposite. Whenever politicians claim to be offering us more freedom always take a moment to reflect if it is really true as our liberty usually only comes from demands by the people.

The article is an interesting record of the campaigning methods used to achieve a goal. I wonder which person or small group is behind it all and why.

The bigger picture is there are hundreds of similar groups, often funded by taxpayers, frequently registered charities and often embedded in Whitehall. Some are quangos. What they have in common is an underlying political objective which they lobby for all the time. Many of their staff had HoC passes.

And they call this democracy.

Just goes to show I suppose that it’s not the strength of your case that wins the argument, but how much money you’ve got.

As an atheist, I struggle to keep up with the various religious dogma. What is a humanist quaker? Does she believe in God (either a male or female one)? When did those regarded as the staunchest Christians, the Catholics, become the staunchest advocates for abortion through their support of the democratic party in the USA? Why does the most senior churchman in the Church of England seem to support the Islamic faith more than any other, when Christians are being massacred in their thousands where the two faiths but up to each other in Africa?

As a committed Christian since 1973, I agree these are great questions.
The Maker’s Handbook is very clear apostasy would come as a very clear sign of the times.

Catholics are NOT “regarded as the staunchest Christians”, precisely because they are NOT CHRISTIANS AT ALL, but MARYOLATERS, who worship a human woman, the Impostor Goddess of the Fake Virgin Birth & her Stolen Child, CRAWLING ON THEIR KNEES before her statues, slobbering over her icons, and placing her ABOVE ALMIGHTY GOD.

So sorry, Heretic, I didn’t intend to demean other Christian sects with my comment but as an outsider looking in, most Christians seem to be fairly relaxed in their religion where the Catholics insist their priests can’t marry (except Greek Catholics for some reason), don’t allow women to be ordained, worship far more saints and generally eschew the happy clappy of the CofE, so seem more staunch to people such as me.

Just look at the obscene scale of the Billion dollar abortion industry in the USA if you want to understand who drives this.
Supported by a few sad cases and useful idiots.

I’ve wondered why they have cancelled executions by lethal injection in the US because they are unreliable, yet confident of chemically killing via this bill in the UK! Does the NHS have something to teach them?

For those like me who were wondering what on earth is a “Humanist Quaker”, it means someone who doesn’t believe in God, or the immortality of the soul, or an afterlife, as neither humanists nor Quakers do, so both of their “religions” are utterly pointless and false.

In the case of this Medical Murder Bill, it’s just more Communists, Satanists, Upper Class White People and Third World Ethnics encouraging White People to Top Themselves.

There are other dangers with this eugenics approach one of which is that people who are disabled may be deterred from having surgery because they fear that they will be killed on the operating table. You can’t try to reassure them because their fears are grounded in reality.

You can’t really believe in anytihng. You come to an understanding as if you have been given a glimpse. Faith is the sense that this presages greater awakenings. At every stage of submission and ascent is the grasping that the truth is way beyond the rational. In that moment of openness you could say that faith occurs.

Notice that the photo advert doesn’t feature any “Diversity, Equality or Inclusion” in promoting Medical Murder.

No Dancing African Women celebrating their own deaths,
No Frolicking Muslims, Sikhs or Hindus celebrating their own deaths,
No Gambolling Orientals celebrating their own deaths…

Just WHITE PEOPLE.

Yes, and yet so few White People are even aware that they’ve got a target on their backs, placed there by the Globalists, and the entire Third World is complicit.

A lot of people may be in a state of shock that the Assisted Dying Bill was passed, but a lot MORE people will be relieved that MPs finally had the courage to address the suffering inflicted on a small group of people who suffer greatly when palliative care fails.
No idea why the Daily Sceptic only publishes anti-assisted dying articles.

Maybe because only White People are being encouraged to top themselves.

You don’t see celebrities like Joanna Lumley funding adverts with Dancing Gurkha Women happy to be Medically Murdered, do you?

More examples of the abuse of the charity and non profit tax laws that are being used to raise money to influence the political system that, in reality, should be the domain of Parliament and it’s elected Members. Much of this funding are tax deductions, thus being paid by your taxes. Lobbying and influencing by these fake charities is distorting what the outcome would be if the will of the people was actually used. Many of these fake charities exist solely to provide executive level salaries and lifestyles to a few elites within them. Pick a cause, write some articles, ask for donations to help your good cause, rinse, repeat. It is virtually unregulated. There are over 125,000 of these charities and non profits in the UK and many of these are just numbered charities forming a web that is impossible to audit or regulate.
