Policing ‘Hate Speech’ Is Just the Latest Method of Enforcing Left-Wing Orthodoxy

by Richard Eldred
17 November 2024 5:00 PM

Policing ‘non-crime hate incidents’ isn’t about preventing hate – it’s about enforcing woke orthodoxy and silencing dissent, says Toby in the Telegraph. Here’s an except:

NCHIs are a form of “pre-crime”, with the idea being that if you put the frighteners on someone guilty of saying something “hateful”, but which isn’t against the law, you deter them from taking the next step, which would be to commit a hate crime.

That was the rationale provided by Paul Giannasi, a retired police officer and now the Hate Crime Policy Lead at the National Police Chiefs’ Council, in a witness statement he submitted on behalf of the College of Policing when it was being sued by Harry Miller. Miller, an ex-cop, sued both Humberside Police and the arm’s-length body after an NCHI was recorded against him in 2019.

“Failure to address non-crime hate incidents is likely to lead to their increase, and ultimately increase the risk of serious violence and societal damage,” said Giannasi.

In his witness statement, Giannasi said this supposition – that NCHIs, if not “addressed”, would inevitably lead to more and more serious crimes – was based on the work of Gordon Allport, an American social psychologist, who wrote a book in 1954 called The Nature of Prejudice. According to Allport, there’s a pyramid of hate – a five-stage model – with disparaging remarks about “out groups” at the bottom and what he called “extermination” at the top. Failure to tackle this nexus of hatred when “stage one” rears its ugly head can lead to genocide….

[But] the reason Essex Police dispatched two officers to interview a middle-aged journalist about a year-old tweet on a Sunday morning wasn’t because they genuinely believed she might embark on a crime spree if her “hateful” behaviour wasn’t nipped in the bud, or that she might incite racial hatred. It’s because those responsible for devising national police policy – people such as Paul Giannasi – believe that if you openly flout the new woke public morality you should be punished.

Say something that upsets or offends a member of a minority group – or one of their self-appointed guardians – and you might get a visit from the police.

That’s why you’re more likely to have an NCHI logged against your name if you’re Right-of-centre than Left-of-centre. To date, an ex-Conservative home secretary, a former vice-chairman of the Conservative Party and the ex-deputy leader of the Scottish Conservatives have all had NCHIs recorded against them, but I don’t know of a Labour MP who’s suffered the same fate.

Those hailing from the Left who have been investigated, such as Ian Austin and Julie Bindel, have generally diverged from progressive orthodoxy.

This goes to show NCHIs are a way to keep people in line and persecute heretics, not prevent crime.

Worth reading in full.

The FSU should commission the following study.

First, write a series of social media posts criticising Russians, whites and “entitled” middle aged heterosexuals.

Then produce a second set of posts with the exact same text but with Russians, whites and heteros changed to Muslims, blacks and trans.

Then get 100 people to post the first set and 100 brave souls to post the second set and record who gets harassed by the police.

That would prove or disprove the hypothesis put forward in the article.

This is what I would term the ‘tables turned test’. It’s something I carry out on an almost daily basis and can be applied to sexual and racial discrimination as well as work based quotas. For example, generalisations about men and white people are acceptable in polite society, whereas the same cannot be said for generalisations about women or ethnic minorities. Not enough female CEOs or black rocket scientists? Evidently bigotry. Percentage of black footballers or Asian doctors proportionately larger than their population numbers? Absolutely amazing. White working class boys doing badly at school compared to girls and other races? Who cares.

I also suggest that one million people post the very same “hateful post” that someone has just been arrested for and dare the police to arrest all one million of them. Difficult to organise ofcourse, but it might be possible for one person to create a website that free thinking people can sign up to and send a joint post on behalf of them all to X

Toby’s reference to “pre-crime” inspired me to look up the origin of that whole idea.

First there was late 19th century “Cesare” (Ezechia Marco) Lombroso, descended from a long line of Jewish rabbis, who stated “that criminality was inherited, and that someone “born criminal” could be identified by physical (congenital) defects, which confirmed a criminal as savage or atavistic.”

Then there was George Orwell, who “introduced a similar concept in his 1949 novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four”, using the term “thoughtcrime” to describe illegal thoughts which held banned opinions about the ruling government or intentions to act against it.”

Then in “Philip K. Dick’s 1956 science fiction short story “The Minority Report”, Precrime is the name of a criminal justice agency, the task of which is to identify and eliminate persons who will commit crimes in the future.”

Then “Richard Nixon’s psychiatrist, Arnold Hutschnecker, suggested in a memorandum to the president, to run mass tests of “pre-delinquency” and put those juveniles in “camps”. Hutschnecker was a Jewish refugee from Nazi Germany.”

Now we have this Paul Giannasi spouting the same thing, as “Hate Crime Lead”. He is also a Trustee of the charity “Communities Against Crimes of Hate”, and a Trustee of the Holocaust Memorial Trust which intend to build it right next to the UK Parliament, though there was no Holocaust in Britain, and hundreds of thousands of British and Allied people were wounded, maimed and killed to rescue the Jews from Hitler. My grandad was one of them.

I believe I have detected a familial propensity to make insurance claims, lose their job, get drunk, divorce, get fat.

Most if it is social, not genetic IMO.

”…middle-aged journalist..” Meow, Toby. What’s Allison done to upset you and how is her age of any consequence?

Anyway, agree with Laurence Fox here. That’s Clown World justice for you nowadays;

”Just for my own personal safety.

I’m going to download some kiddy porn and convert to Islam.

That should hold me in good stead with the Crown prosecution service.

Suspended sentence incoming!”

Example. If the target is Jews or white people then it’s seldom considered an offense, is it? Vice versa, however;

”More two-tier justice as Kurd Amin gets a slap on the wrist for “appalling” racial slurs used during an unprovoked attack on a Jewish man. It was seen as a hate crime. He has a previous conviction for ABH.

Leeds Magistrates’ gave him 120 hours of unpaid work &ordered Amin to pay £199 in costs.”

To be fair, Julia Hartley-Brewer interviewing Allison called her “middle-aged,” adding a disclaimer that they are the same age. The point, I think, is that this is not a teenage influencer, but a mature and experienced journalist (“and pretty blonde mother of two…” :-)).

But he could’ve qualified that by adding “with extensive experience”, or similar. It just stuck out for me that referring to her age range seems totally unnecessary and out of context, but I get we all read and interpret things differently. The point is, age is not remotely relevant when it comes to how the authorities are going full-on Orwellian on what are mere words on a screen. See the article featuring that older man yesterday on here. People of all ages are being targeted by the Stasi goon squad ( even kids! ), whether it be the patriots getting sent down or people ending up with these stupid NCHIs that will blight their criminal record checks for ever more.

I really don’t think he was using the phrase for offence. I read it along the lines of a serial killer starts as a child pulling insects apart, then moves on to killing cats progressing to humans as an adult. In the same vein, a child expressing an NCHI, in the mind of the woke, will obviously move on to real hate crimes, whereas a lady of a certain age is unlikely to follow the progression as she is mentally fully developed and unlikely, therefore, to become a hate criminal.

And the more people like this take the view they do, the more the plods visit innocent people, the bigger the vote for Reform next time.

The bigger the chance they will be fired with prejudice.

Remember the Tories did not object when these unaccountable pressure groups were established and thrived over their 14 years in office (?) and they approved tax payer funds supporting them all.

In case anyone on this site was tempted to believe recent complaints by the shadow front bench just recall who brought us here.

And what sheer hypocrisy from those Tory MPs who are now speaking out about the ridiculousness of NCHIs.

Does anyone know why the year 2030 is so important to the Globalists that all their evil agendas are aiming for that year?

Is that when the next Ice Age is due or something?

And how about The Great Replacement? Does that also have a deadline of 2030 as well?

I don’t understand why that year is so important to the Globalists/Satanists.

Yet I have always heard that even if a person threatens to kill you that the police can “do nothing, because no crime has yet been committed”—–But apparently it is ok to “do something” in the case or protecting government and their ideologies.
