Migrants Are So Miserable in Britain They’re Desperate to Leave – But We Won’t Let Them

by Will Jones

A growing number of illegal migrants are finding life in Britain so miserable, they’re desperate to leave. But we won’t let them. Michael Deacon in the Telegraph wonders why the British state doesn’t have the basic human decency to let them go.

According to reports, there is a growing number of people who have entered this country illegally, only to find that life in Britain is even worse than in whatever godforsaken hellhole they originally came from. Yesterday, for example, one newspaper carried an interview with a teenager from north Africa who arrived here last July via small boat. He said: “I hate Britain and wish I had never come here. I want to go back to France.”

Meanwhile, an illegal migrant from Sudan said: “I want to go anywhere else in Europe… There are many young migrants wanting to leave because there is nothing for them in the U.K.” And last month, an illegal migrant from Syria said: “A lot of people who came over the Channel want to leave now – there is nothing for us here.”

Unfortunately for these illegal migrants, however, there’s one small problem. They can’t leave Britain – because the police keep stopping them.

Take the illegal migrant from Sudan. Four weeks ago, the police caught him in Dover, trying to sneak aboard a truck bound for France. They then drove him all the way back to Preston in Lancashire, where the Home Office had housed him. The same thing happened to the migrant from Syria. He says he’s been trying to sneak out of Britain since last summer – but has been caught by the police every time.

What a remarkable situation. We’re hopeless at keeping people out. But we’re brilliant at keeping them in.

Personally, though, I find it cruel that we’re forcing these poor migrants to stay in this awful country against their will. In the name of human decency, surely we can find it in our hearts to let them go. All they want is the chance of a better life elsewhere.

Worth reading in full.

Frank Haviland discussing the positively evil imprisonment of Sam Melia. Another bent judge. None of this adds up – useless plod, useless CPS, corrupt judiciary.

No wonder the illegals want to get out. Why make it difficult? It’s not as if there is a shortage of firkin dinghies.

And useless RNLI, Border Force, Home Office….Of course these people can leave the same way they arrived if they wish. You’re not the Hotel flaming California! If they’re being prevented from doing so then I say that’s ominous AF and is further confirmation ( as if any were needed ) that they’re being welcomed, encouraged and kept here as our replacements;

”A former RNLI crew member has issued a warning for the future of the maritime charity service, as it celebrates its 200th anniversary.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution has saved over 150,000 lives since its founding in 1824, operating across the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
But increasingly, the role of the lifeboat charity is being questioned because of how it assists the Border Force police to rescue migrants who are illegally crossing the English Channel.

Wimbles told GB News: “Some of the crews have voiced privately that they’re a bit disenchanted with the fact that they are being used, to quote you, as a taxi service without any financial reward from the government.
“If you take into account the fact that the RNLI is wholly funded by volunteer contributions, some people have even said they leave legacies for them in their wills.”
Wimbles added: “Somebody that I know personally, who was planning on leaving them a large amount of money, stated that they wouldn’t do it, all the time they were acting as a taxi service.”
At its worst, Wimbles stated that the RNLI were being forced to intervene “at least four times a day”, and that the operation is “a very expensive business”.

It is a very expensive business to maintain and fuel the boats plus finding enough volunteers to call them out many times in one day. It is why I am suspicious that they can keep running the taxi service without state finding.

I call BS on this entire situation. If they wanted to stop the boats they’d stop the boats, if they wanted to deport convicted murderers and rapists they could do so, if they want to send migrants back because the UK doesn’t fulfill their expectations they could do so. The reason none of this is happening is because ‘the powers that be’ will it to be so. It is all obviously happening by design, nobody’s hands are tied here, it’s the lies they tell us because they think we are thick.
Also, you’re an island, FGS! You’re also no longer in the EU and at the mercy of Brussels. Where’s the excuses or the rationale for you getting inundated with dinghy migrants, because you certainly have the advantage over us here on mainland Europe, whereby, much like a particular ‘super deadly virus’, once migrants arrive in Italy, Spain, France, for example, they have no respect for borders and can travel anywhere.
The prevention of these migrants leaving if they want reminds me of the ironic situation that Koran burner and Public Enemy number 1, Salwan Momika is in over in Sweden, who is still awaiting deportation back to Iraq, unless someone can step in and save him, all for exercising his right to freedom of expression instead of killing/raping somebody;

”Sweden has ordered Salwan Momika, an Iraqi freedom fighter who has burned the Qur’an in protest against the violence done in its name and in accord with its teachings, and to stand for the freedom of expression, to be deported. On Friday, he stated his case on X. Will he be heeded?
On Friday, Momika wrote, “My extradition to Iraq means that Sweden will participate in my execution and that it will be the turn of the rest of those who stand against the Islamization of the West.” Exactly so. But does anyone in Sweden or elsewhere in the West care?
Momika added, “The persecution I am subjected to in Sweden is tantamount to defending Islam and supporting the project of Islamizing Sweden and the West, granting asylum and protecting Islamists, and while those who criticize Islam are expelled and persecuted, this means that the law on freedom of expression is in real danger and Islamic values may be imposed on Western societies and the application of Sharia law. Islamism will inevitably come to them unless we take action.”

Well, it’s quite clear that the laws on freedom of expression are indeed in danger. If they weren’t, Momika wouldn’t be facing deportation; he would be being feted and lionized as a hero in Sweden.”

The case of Salwan Momika epitomises the utter degeneracy and depravity that this country of Sweden, the beacon of democracy now wallows in. The parallels with Sam Melia are remarkable although the sentence awaiting Salwan is infinitely more horrific. Sweden’s barbarism and disrespect for human rights is frightening to behold. But then we have Julian Assange and now Sam Melia.

And you know the headlong descent to barbarism has really, really kicked off since…oh, about March 2020.

What happened in March 2020 to set this off….?

I’ll have a think…

There are people who have done actual crimes or perverts caught with loads of images of child sex abuse on their devices, for example, who are given suspended sentences, but Sam gets sent down?! WTAF?? Now, having a picture of Hitler on your wall isn’t exactly my cup of tea but 1) It isn’t a crime 2) It doesn’t turn you into a raging neo-Nazi or KKK wannabe, and 3) It is *nowhere* near as bad as having images of child sex abuse in your possession! 😮
Honestly, nothing should surprise me anymore in this world of corruption we now inhabit but I also don’t want to become desensitized to these outrages and injustices because none of this should ever be accepted as the ‘new norm’, and ”Oh well, just another day in Clown World…”. Otherwise we are like the frogs who have gradually came to a boil and our apathy will wave in the authoritarians via the backdoor. Did we learn nothing from the scamdemic years?

I call BS on this entire situation. If they wanted to stop the boats they’d stop the boats, if they wanted to deport convicted murderers and rapists they could do so, if they want to send migrants back because the UK doesn’t fulfill their expectations they could do so.

They couldn’t stop the boats, except by putting up a dense net of coastal defence installations on every beach in southern England that’s suitable for landing with a boat and ensuring that no one reaches the shore alive (heavy machine-guns ought to be more than sufficient for this). But simply killing these people, while being a technically perfectly viable solution, is probably against every human-rights treaty on the planet and British law on top of that. And that’s the problem here: It’s not possible to defend anything against a determined attacker, even an unarmed one, without resorting to lethal violence.

The situation with illegal immigrants trying to become illegal emigrants is similar: These people cannot legally pay the fare of anything which could bring them accross the border and they cannot legally enter into any European country from any other European country without being legally present in the other country first. The French are supposed to do something to stop people who are already in France from illegally migrating to the UK and vice-versa. Hence, once they’re detected in the UK, they end up imprisoned in it for life.

A good way to handle that would be to put them all into labour camps in remote areas and occupy them with growing as much of their own food as possible. But that’s again something which cannot be done for publicity reasons, as someone would certainly point out that these concentration camps are … well … concentration camps. A British invention, after all (2nd Boer war), but none that’s still very popular today.

You are referring to stopping the boats by physical means and barriers etc. ——But you can stop them much easier than that by simply stating that anyone who arrives here illegally will NEVER get a passport a house or benefits and NEVER will become a British citizen.

That’s of little use when you can’t get rid of them afterwards because their country of origin isn’t known and no other country is willing to take them. The only realisitc options are

1) Prevent the journey from starting by controlling the start points, eg, the Tunesian cost for Lampedusa.

2) Prevent them from landing by (threat of) force.

2) means either killing them or accepting that they’ll die because they cannot land anywhere and can’t make it back, either. Our ancestors of a mere 100 years ago would have seen absolutely no problem with that as they are trying to force a border they’re not supposed to cross.

You make some good points.

We could put them all on a big boat and put them down on some
deserted coast in Africa.

None of this will happen, for the reasons you state.

I am sorry but you are now talking about those coming from Noth Africa. I those coming over the English Channel know before they leave that they will receive NOTHING then I feel that would be enough incentive not to come. ——–We don’t solve problems because we have squirming handwringers in charge. Thatcher would easily have dealt with this issue.

An English invasion of northern France with the intent to prevent these people from ever starting their journeys is certainly a possibility as well but even less realistic than an Italian invasion of eastern Tunesia. The general problem is the same in both cases: Neither starting nor landing points are really guarded. This would need to be changed to prevent these events from occurring. Haggling about what’s precisely the right kind of paper decree here won’t work.

Seriously, how effed up do you have to be? Bloody far-right psychos…they’re clearly a menace. I’ve no idea what a ”butterfly knife” is, mind;

”A Palestinian migrant living illegally in France was arrested on Tuesday after stabbing a man traveling with a 6-month-old child because the baby wouldn’t stop crying.
The 54-year-old suspect was detained near the train station in the eastern city of Mulhouse, according to a report by Valeurs Actuelles journalist Amaury Bucco on X.
It is understood the victim was traveling with a mother and her 6-month-old baby who was crying on the station platform when the suspect approached the couple and told them to keep the child quiet.

An altercation ensued between the suspect and the man accompanying the mother and child before the Palestinian national returned to his seat to retrieve a butterfly knife from his suitcase.
As the train both parties were waiting for arrived at the station, the suspect is reported to have attacked the companion of the baby’s mother, “stabbing him three times in the face.”

A knife with a blade inside a handle split into two parts which can rotate around a ring at the end. It’s opened by unlocking the handle and letting it fly around one’s fingers in order to get the moving handle part back into one’s grip when the blades has moved 180⁰ from its initial position and is projecting horizionally away from the handle. Immensely popular schoolyard toy by the time I was in secondary school. Nowadays immensely prohibited.

Perhaps the government could fund a few TikTok ads using these illegals to explain the horrors that await them in Britain.
