Court documents reveal that a Muslim schoolgirl, now suing her teachers over a playground prayer ban, was suspended last year for threatening to stab a fellow student. The Mail has more.
Court papers reveal the teenager made the threat soon after confiding in the fellow pupil that she was bringing the court case to “harm the school”. She was excluded for five days last April after her “scared” confidante told teachers what the girl had said to her.
The news comes as her headteacher, Katharine Birbalsingh, told the Mail on Sunday… that she feared for her own safety due to the backlash over the legal case, which the pupil and her mother are funding with legal aid.
The girl is suing Michaela Community School, claiming the ban breached her human rights.
The judgment in the High Court case, which could cost £1 million, is expected next month.
The controversy was revealed by the Mail on Sunday last year when we told how the school and its staff received bomb threats, death threats and racial abuse after anger was whipped up by extremists following the ban.

Before he was removed from the court, Mr Ahmed then threatened to punch a dock officer and warned the judge: ‘Give me twenty years, I’ll come out the enemy.’
He has now been freed, despite warnings that he remains a danger to the public.
He was released in October 2022, but was recalled the prison nine days later following ‘concerns about his behaviour’.
His release bid in June 2023 was blocked by the Parole Board, with the reasoning given that Mr Ahmed ‘remains a radicalised person and would continue to pose a risk in the community.”’

A 17-year-old from Detmold is said to have planned an explosive attack. State security investigators arrested the teenager on Friday morning. According to WDR information, an arrest warrant has now been issued.
The alleged perpetrator is said to have broken into a school in Detmold the night before and stole chemicals for making a bomb. The alerted police caught the 17-year-old after a brief escape.

In other words Mogs he was known to the authorities. Clearly he should have been deported before matters such as this arose.
He’ll most likely be a German citizen though, so no deportations on the cards unfortunately. And now the government over there wants to fast-track these types of ‘undesirables’ ( does that sound more acceptable than ”scum”, do you think? ) so that they have their papers and voting rights in 3 – 5 years instead of 8 years, so we can expect more of these ‘fun and games’ in future, no doubt. But if they can’t be deported they certainly need some sort of punishment, and I’m not convinced prison even sorts them out or acts as a deterrent anyway. What is the solution though?

I wouldn’t have a problem with anyone praying in the playground. I do however have a problem with death threats. So expel her and be done with it, rather than giving her 5 days playing video games at home and then putting in some ridiculous arbitrary rule about not praying outside!
