The article below is a short summary article I wrote for publication on the website of Door to Freedom, which describes itself as “a new organisation formed to help people make sense of a rapidly changing and often confusing world”.
Door to Freedom was founded by U.S. doctor Meryl Nass and launched just over a week ago. It aims to collate and publish information from experts and campaigners around the world relating to threats to our human rights and freedoms we are facing from the WHO, UN and other supranational bodies as they seek to strengthen their power, influence and control over national public health policies in health emergencies. In a series of very readable, short two-minute articles and longer essays, international experts (including Dr. David Bell, James Roguski, Vera Sharav and Dr. Kat Lindley) explore and analyse not just the WHO Power Grab, but also wider issues and agendas which threaten humanity and democracy, such as the climate change agenda, CBDCs, the World Economic Forum ESG scoring system, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the rise of AI, transhumanism and more.
Door to Freedom is still in its embryonic stage and it is encouraging people to sign up for its email newsletter and to share the excellent articles on social media and with friends and family. This valuable information is designed to educate and empower the public to fight the WHO power grab and other sinister and unethical agendas more effectively. Below is a taste of the kind of article you will find on the website – my article summarising the collapse of medical ethics during the pandemic years..
We have a global crisis of medical ethics. In the last three years, under the excuse of the pandemic ’emergency’, we have seen the destruction of the sacred doctor-patient relationship and the violation of fundamental human rights and the ethical principles of informed consent and bodily autonomy. Politicians and health officials have effectively practised medicine on individuals they don’t know, and worse, have done so through enforced Covid treatment protocols and mandated testing, face masks and vaccines, which were required for the public to access basic freedoms and rights such as to work, travel and even to shop.
Medical ethics are vitally important and should be non-negotiable in a civilised society. They exist to hold doctors and medical professionals accountable for their actions and to protect vulnerable patients from abuse and atrocities, recognising the unavoidable power imbalance in the doctor-patient relationship.
When we are considering any medical intervention for an individual, it must be proportionate, necessary and given under strict ethical principles. The Hippocratic Oath, upheld by doctors around the world for over two millennia, states “First, do no harm”. All medical interventions have the potential to cause harm, so doctors must ensure they obtain voluntary and fully informed consent, following a discussion of the risks and benefits to that individual and any alternative treatment options. Healthcare professionals are expected to maintain confidentiality and respect the value and dignity of each person, acting as their patient’s advocate.
Arguably, the time when it is most important to hold firm to ethical principles is in an emergency, as this is the time when abuse and atrocities are most likely to occur. Yet, over the last three years, under emergency laws around the world, we have seen fundamental, long-standing ethical principles and hard red lines abandoned and violated. There have been so many ethical violations that it is hard to know where to begin.
Covid policies restricting and banning visitors for hospital patients led to countless people being cruelly deprived of support from their family and friends during times of suffering, and even being forced to die alone. These policies were disproportionate, unethical and barbaric.
Enforcing the wearing of face masks (which have known physical and psychological harms) and Covid testing for staff, patients and visitors, in order to work or to access healthcare, violates ethical principles and informed consent.
The way in which the Covid vaccine rollout was conducted around the world was shocking in its failure to adhere to normal ethical practices and in the widespread use of glib marketing, coercion and even bribery.
Unbelievably, we have seen Covid vaccines – a completely new technology with no long-term safety data on health, fertility or cancers – rolled out not just to those at most risk from Covid, but to those at little or no risk, including children and even pregnant women. This goes against all common sense and well-established medical practice and ethics.
It was unprecedented that a pharmaceutical product still in the clinical trial phase was administered to children and pregnant women on such a mass scale. That this was done without full disclosure of the known and unknown risks, and with aggressive marketing, seriously undermined the ability of anyone to give full, voluntary and informed consent, and was reckless in the extreme.
Doctors have been prevented from acting in their patients’ best interest. For example, they were blocked from issuing medical exemptions for patients who did not want to have Covid vaccines, and denied access to generic, well-established medications, such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, to treat Covid, under threat of losing their careers and livelihoods. Instead, they were forced to practise a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to medicine – blindly following protocols and mandates set by distant bureaucrats with no knowledge of or duty of care to the individual patient in front of the doctor.
This ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach is a dangerous and unethical way to practise medicine. At the heart of the practice of safe and ethical medicine is the doctor-patient relationship, where the patient’s unique medical history, his or her individual risk-profile and personal philosophy and wishes should always be the prime concern of the doctor administering a treatment.
If doctors cannot uphold their oath to ‘First, do no harm’ and are mandated to follow top-down ‘one-size-fits-all’ policies and protocols, they become mere agents of the state, patients are dehumanised and harms and atrocities will inevitably follow. It is urgent that the erosion of medical ethics we have witnessed over the last three years is halted and reversed. It is time for medical professionals to reclaim their profession and ethical values and for patients to demand ethical care from their doctors and nurses.

Well this issue might have something to do with it. You need to see these graphs. Amazing really;
”Royal colleges in the UK have received more than £9m in marketing payments from drug and medical devices companies since 2015, an analysis by The BMJ has found. The Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners were the biggest recipients of industry money, the investigation found.
The BMJ asked the colleges to disclose all payments from industry, campaign groups, or patient associations, including the specific amount received from each donor, but they all refused to do so. The colleges are not obliged to disclose these payments; they are not included in their annual reports and are only available through voluntary industry transparency initiatives, which experts say have severe limitations.
Industry payments have become controversial in recent years, even leading to one drug company being suspended from its representative association.5 Some colleges have already cut ties: since 2012 the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland has refused to take any sponsorship from drug companies, noting that research “overwhelmingly” shows that clinicians are influenced by industry marketing and that this affects prescribing.”

The common term “money talks” has much to do with it. Even GP practices have been given so many pounds a head for each registered patient who accepted the offer.
I have no doubt that doctors were ordered to toe the line or lose their registrations.
Yes and MONEY. Every stab, death, bed, ventilator, etc paid for. GPs made record earnings during the SCAMdemic. Nothing changed since the time of that half wit quack Jenner.
I just went all Victor Meldrew when I read this because I really cannot believe it! Unashamedly off-topic ( though certainly pertaining to ethics ) but I think many would wish to know if they’re in a city that has shiny A.I orbs that scan your irises and keep your biometric data. Watch out London, you’re on the list! No wonder they’re talking about aliens in the US…Has this been on the news or had much media coverage? It’s news to me;
”According to Worldcoin, its beta phase has seen two million people, including more than 150,000 individuals in Spain, sign up for World ID by allowing the company to collect their biometric data.
To “5x” those numbers, Worldcoin has rolled out about 1,500 of its reflective spheres, dubbed Orbs, to pop-ups in more than 35 cities in 20 countries.
Developed by Tools for Humanity, the Orb is a 6.2 pound biometric imaging device, custom-built to verify humanness in a secure way. Passersby need only gaze into its mirrored surface, whereupon the device will scan their irises and generate a unique hash or numeric code attached to their particular set of eyes. In exchange, each participant will receive a World ID and a WLD token.”

What a load of orbs!
I had a fantastical thought the other day that if they crank up the fear of extraterrestrial invaders, it would be a good excuse to digitise everyone’s irises, and so claim to smoke out the aliens in our midst. Needless to say it will be refuseniks and poor elderly ladies who are detected as unregistered aliens…
Of course, it couldn’t happen in a free democracy like ours.
You’ve nailed it! Although imaginary Russian or Chinese cyber attacks will do just as nicely.
It certainly wasn’t a set book! I have to say it went along with my Christian faith, which always made me swim against the tide. For the same reason I went to the cinema to see a documentary on Idi Amin, since there was a possibility of working out in Uganda and it seemed a nice idea to know who was going to shoot me!
Woops – this was reply to comment further down!
Ha ha! No problem I got it! I read the same books as a twenty something junior dissident but I have no idea where the impetus to swim against the tide came from. I have a feeling that these traits are preprogrammed for some reason to do with the benefit it brings the whole species. It would make sense in a cooperative species for a small proportion to be critical thinking and sceptical, but for the overwhelming majority to follow the leader. Maybe?
That may well be true. Society needs its innovators, its prophets… and its scapegoats.
Blade runner
Oh what fun you could have with can of spray paint and an orbe eh!.. not that I would ever do such a thing.. snigger-snigger..

”The boss of Coutts, the prestigious private bank for the wealthy, has stepped down over the handling of Nigel Farage’s bank account closure.
NatWest – which owns Coutts – said Peter Flavel’s resignation had been mutually agreed and would be immediate.
Mr Flavel said how the bank handled Mr Farage’s account had “fallen below” its “high standards of personal service”.
Mr Farage said “ultimate responsibility for the dossier de-banking me for my political views” laid with Mr Flavel.
The departure of the Coutts boss comes after Dame Alison Rose, the boss of NatWest Group, resigned over the row on Wednesday.”

I know a number of doctors and got the chance to observe their practice and attitude during the confected emergency. A number of things stood out in their general approach. Firstly, they were all extremely reluctant to read anything that contradicted the protocols they had been handed from on high, even if they were from completely ‘credible’ sources, like as the government’s own data. Secondly they were all very defensive about their role and were able to compartmentalise their own actions, whilst sort of rolling their eyes about the general, as they saw it, overreaction.
Doctors are successful individuals – successful because they went to class, took the exams, did their training, did their homework, and were eventually granted the white coat and stethoscope of medical expertise. They did not become successful by employing critical thought, by understanding power and the way it can be abused, nor of the revolting history of murderous fraud and racketeering by the pharmaceutical industry; none of them studied propaganda techniques at medical school. They were in effect sitting ducks and willing beneficiaries of both money and undeserved societal hero status.
Now, my suspicion is that most of them will want to forget the whole thing ever happened and once again roll their eyes as they think back to the chaos and overreaction they worked though. I will never, ever trust a doctor or hospital for as long as I draw breath.
I read the Gulag Archipelago (all three volumes), and 1984 at Medical School, but didn’t twig that my own profession was an example until not long before the COVID scare, when I was reading and writing extensively on propaganda.
What was as interesting as your experience is that this retired expert sharing said data and experience with non-medical family and friends was given absolutely no credence at all – one reason being that, since I was retired, I knew nothing.
It was, of course, no better on the few occasions I got to talk to my former collagues, all busily vaccinating in their spare time and arguing the case for masks by saying, “Well, why do surgeons wear masks then, if they don’t work?”
But another sad thing is that even the “real” scientists I know, whose job consists of evaluating scientific literature rather than working through a waiting room full of needy people, showed no greater critical judgement.
Disillusioning all round.
‘I read the Gulag Archipelago (all three volumes), and 1984 at Medical School.’
I stand corrected! Maybe these should be required texts!
Dear Dr Evans,
I’ll read your article in a sec, but just one point to begin with: there was no pandemic.
Yours sincerely,
MAk
Indeed not.
To any readers new to the site this might seem like a picky point but it cannot be stressed enough that the whole thing was utter fraud/madness from the start. As soon as you take that on board you see that the whole edifice is nonsense. It’s vital that we re-iterate this as much as we can.
Hear, hear tof.
Well…sidestepping the delicate question of whether there was any pandemic at all, the last 4 years has seen a rise in the winning combo of 1st grade rhetoric and Grade A psychopathy.

Worth reading in its entirety, and for a proper laugh the Conflicts of Interests at the end.
I suppose medical roles should require elevated levels of trustworthiness, but do medical staff get vetted for this? Does anyone get vetted for it, in any profession/job? Why should we expect doctors or whoever to be any less corrupt, cowardly, susceptible to pressure as the rest of us?
There was once a thing called the Hippocratic oath, that in its final form arose from the Christian model of medicine as service. It had already disappeared from Britain when I qualified, and has been given its fair share of liberal disparagement since.
After all, what do you do in 2023 with an oath that includes, “I will not enable a woman to procure an abortion”? Still less “I will keep holy both my life and art.” Both those were provisions of the original oath, even in ancient form.
What bothered me during the so-called pandemic was the number of doctors writing letters to The Times, signed as a GP, to trumpet their desire to withdraw medical care to those refusing to mask or be jabbed. The sheer number of them arrogant enough to publicise their belief in their entitlement to gatekeep medical treatment was frightening.
Yes, but…they were probably written by the 77th brigade, not real doctors.
This reads like an effort to abscond doctors from their responsibility of complicity in their prolonged egregious breach of medical ethics.
For a few, this might be correct, but most peoples experiences were that doctors were and often still are gleeful cheerleaders, sadistic enforcers and huge financial beneficiaries of the breaches of these ethics.
It is no wonder that they were the profession that made up the by far highest percentage of NSDAP and, even more so, of SS members.
Plus ça change….
Stunning new revelation from a FOI request to the government in a German state, Lower Saxony.
500.000 minors got jabbed there.
10.000! had to go see a doctor afterwards
A 2% rate, 1% per doses given.
This is off the charts high for a ‘vaccine’.
Especially so in light of it being totally unnecessary for that group even if it was ‘safe and effective’.
And the government there also brazenly gaslights the people: they claim that they know of no cases where minors got jabbed just to avoid being socially excluded.
In reality, most if not all of those 500k got jabbed solely because of that.
Obvious.
They hid behind the sofa of wilfull ignorance where they found the human rights Lawyers.
Nil desperandum though, give it a few years and vax damages aplenty will be big business.
I hope and pray the lot of them come crashing down.
That said, as no doubt they’re all jabbed, mother nature may take its course.
Never forget – Nature Bats Last.

A colleague of mine has recently developed myocarditis. He was taken to hospital with a resting pulse rate of 150.
Fully up-to-date with his injections.
Well this is absolutely tragic. I had no idea.
”Around the world, doctors are two to five times more likely than the general population to die by suicide with female and junior doctors especially high risk. The most recent data from the Office of National Statistics indicate that in the UK alone, 72 medical professionals (including doctors, nurses, therapy professionals, dentists and midwives) took their own lives in 2020 – that is more than one per week. Suicide is also rife among nurses: More than 360 attempted suicide in 2022.
Factors contributing to the high suicide rate within the medical community are well established. Among them are immense, high-pressure workloads, bullying and harassment within a rigidly hierarchical work culture, sleep deprivation, poor support structures and limited resources for employees veering towards burnout.
An unprecedented austerity squeeze on the NHS, which began in 2010 after the government said cuts to public expenditures were needed to resolve the UK’s budget deficit, ramped up pressure on healthcare professionals as hospitals were forced to cut back on front-line services. At roughly the same time, from 2009 to 2019, hospital admissions rose by 20 percent every year while the number of people awaiting treatment increased almost twofold from 2.2 million to 4.3 million.”
https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2023/7/21/a-silent-emergency-the-rise-in-suicides-among-uk-doctors
The suicide rate was high even before the system fell apart. I knew three GP collagues in my area who killed themselves during my career.
UK medics also used to have higher than average rates of alcoholism
“An alcoholic is someone who drinks more than his doctor…”
Well said Doctor Evans. We will never know how many lives were lost as a result of Covid vaccines. I lost a dear friend who was fully vaccinated due to an unexpected and unpredicted heart attack. This like so many other deaths was never medically investigated, although of the few that have been properly investigated a high quantity have been at least in part due to vaccine side effects. Some of the lack of proper medical procedure result from the influence of large pharmaceutical companies (making billions from it) on governments. When appointing politicians in charge of health matters, they should only be qualified doctors who support the oath that doctors give, rather than people we got like that idiot Hancock.
I hope Door to Freedom becomes a recognised organisation that all right-thinking people can support.
Hear hear to all that, especially the last sentence.
PS
I’ve also signed up to their website
Is Australia one of the worst countries in the world for imposing Covid vaccination mandates?
Seriously, most of the population here was threatened with mandates, e.g. No Jab, No Job.
I’m still reeling from how bad this is – mandated medical interventions in a supposed ‘free country’, and most of the medical ‘profession’ went along with this wholeheartedly.
The rot set in when the Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly and the AHPPC capitulated to then prime minister Scott Morrison and National Cabinet’s demand for compulsory vaccination for aged care workers, which set a precedent for violating voluntary informed consent, with a cascade of vaccination mandates following.
I’ve submitted a formal complaint about CMO Paul Kelly’s violation of voluntary informed consent to the regulator of health practitioners, AHPRA, and will be pursuing this matter.
