We’ve recorded a second pilot episode of the Weekly Sceptic ahead of our launch on September 6th. Host Nick Dixon discusses the big issues of the week – from our point of view – with Environment Editor Chris Morrison and me. That means Liz Truss’s pledge never to lock down again, the parallels between Covid mania and climate hysteria, the victory of England’s Lionesses over Germany last Sunday and Chris’s piece on the evidence there’s been no significant warming in the U.S. over the past 17 years, as well as his article about the ‘appalling abuse’ of the BBC’s weathermen, e.g., viewers telling them to “get a grip” when they started catastrophising about climate change during the recent heatwave.
Listen to the episode on Podbean here, or on your preferred podcast platform, and please don’t forget to subscribe. We’re planning at least one more pilot – in which Nick interviews the comedian Leo Kearse – before launching next month.
