Susan Michie, the Communist member of SAGE known as ‘Stalin’s Granny’ because she once smuggled hard-left pamphlets into a Labour Party conference in a baby’s pram, is once again demanding another lockdown. Although, come to think of it, I don’t recall her ever saying it’s safe enough to come out from under our beds. MailOnline has more.
A Communist-supporting SAGE advisor has claimed that “lameduck” Tories will “sit on their hands” and ”let Covid rip” as virus cases are set to hit 350,000 every day next week.
Susan Michie, the Professor of Health Psychology at University College London, warned new variants that are “even more infectious” will lead to unnecessary deaths and hospitalisations.
More than 2.7 million Britons were infected with Covid last week and the Office for National Statistics (ONS) weekly infection survey found up to one in 16 people in the worst-hit parts of the U.K. were carrying the virus in the week ending June 29th as cases rose nationally by about a fifth.
Professor Michie told the Mirror: “We don’t have a public health policy for Covid right now and if we don’t act, we’ll get variants that are even more infectious and these will lead to increased hospitalisations and deaths.
“The number of people with long Covid will increase significantly beyond the current two million and the country will be continuously disrupted with some sectors in danger of grinding to a standstill in the Autumn.
“The Government’s policy seems to be, ‘Shut your eyes and let it rip.’ But the NHS is on its knees and public health experts, SAGE and Independent SAGE have been predicting this since July last year, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.”

Michie (it’s much easier to say and spell “Stalin’s Granny”) does not, and probably never will, understand the basic priciples of immunity. I might be mistaken, of course, but idealogically she would not gain credibility by admitting to it.
Communism means never having to admit failure or say you are sorry.
Any appearance of failure is mistaken because it is the direct result of not enough done, not done for long enough, not enough spent. The solution is do more of it, do it for longer, spend more.

She is in the luxurious position that no-one appears to want to question what she says to test whether it has any relationship with any truth you care to consider. Neither is she held responsible for the catastrophe of people altering their behaviour because of her words and ideas. It is the unholy mess. No accountability, no responsibility, but she gets her voice broadcast widely as an expert.
The key here is her apparent ability to grab a headline as a “SAGE Advisor”. SAGE stopped meeting in March 2022, at the same time as the UK Government withdrew funding for many Covid-related studies. A cynic might suggest she’s desperate to regain the limelight, and the funding that went with it.
I doubt funding will be an issue. If she’s not on Billy’s payroll I’m not a Sceptic.

If people can get time off work with a ‘positive test result’, they will, I know teachers, civil servants and NHS workers who are already doing it. None of them had symptoms, the teacher was told as she had a positive test, not to come in.
There is no such disease as ‘Long CoVid’.
There is well known Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome which can be the result of any viral infection.
There is also serial CoVid infections which afflict jab-junkies because the mRNA juju is causing antigen imprinting which means the immune system is so fixed on the peptide section of the original CoV 2 protein, whenever it sees anything like it it pumps out immune agents designed for it which have no effect on evolved viral mutations.
These fools think another jab’ll do y’a – but of course it is just reinforcing failure.
I had post viral syndrome after a really nasty respiratory bug some years ago. As I was self employed I kept working, despite feeling really ill from time to time. I needed the money! When the summer came I made sure to get as much sunshine and fresh air as poss and it resolved in about 3 months. Time is a great healer for many things.

I have no doubt that post viral fatigue syndrome exists but I think for many covidians it is nothing more more than a skivers charter.
Never having tested for covid I don’t know how these things work, but if you just phoned up your boss and said you had tested positive, how do you prove it to them? Would they just take your word for it? Ask for a photo? Anyway, can’t you make a test positive by dipping it in coke?
Tell you one thing – there will be a great many ‘positive tests’ this week as the weather is set fair. Watch those numbers of ‘sick/not sick’ rise!
If ever there was a candidate for dunking in the nearest duck pond, she is it.
I’ve been able to meet my parents again for the first time in three years for the sole reason that this crooked witch doesn’t anymore wield the power to sacrifice the lifes of other people as she sees fit to pursue her political delusions. I seem to be surrounded right now by people who tell me that they have ‘got covid’; I can’t put this down to increased testing so it would appear that there is more of something going around. Seems to be affecting jabbed people more but still only amounts to non-remarkable flu-like symptoms. The fact that none of them feel short-changed by their alleged inoculation is of course very odd. It’s an open question whether covid is currently being brought back by the criminal shysters or brought back by the lunatics testing themselves. Top down or bottom up; can’t tell, but it amounts to the same thing – more f***ing mass formation!

Just what is the procedure for monitoring performance of management at Quangos and NGOs and tax payer funded charities. Is there any oversight other than from their peers. Do Ministers receive copies of the appraisals, targets and performance indicators.
If not why not – it appears not.
If sdo, why do Ministers not insist on improvements within three months then one month then dismissal, as in many private sector jobs. OK top management might get longer for general performance issues but the serious failures we have seen at PHE and the rest would not be tolerated.

Michie is on record for praising the so-called Chinese pandemic response as that of a much more rationally organized society than ours. She also wants mandatory face masking for everyone forever for general public health reasons because she was very impressed with the idea when encountering facemasks for the first time in Japan. Hence, there’s little doubt which kind she is and where to our journey ought to go insofar she is concerned.

Does Susan not know that the ongoing vaxxing is causing new variants.(vaxxing with a nonsterilising “vaccine” will force the virus to mutate). How is it possible for her not to know this?
