In this week’s episode of London Calling, James I discuss the Oscars, pointing out that Army of the Dead winning ‘fan favourite’ was the real low point, not Will Smith slapping Chris Rock; worry about President Biden inadvertently triggering a nuclear war by going off script and saying Putin cannot “remain in power”; argue about why James is so sceptical about footage appearing to show Russian war crimes, but take footage seeming to show Ukrainian ones; and, in Culture Corner, we complain about the variable quality of talking book voice actors (where are the Oscars for them?), praise the first few episodes of The Ipcress File (but not the last two) and enthuse about Copshop.
