I'm having a hard time finding answers to this question, and a number of forums disapprove (delete/ban) of discussions that seem to be attempting to circumvent, shall we say, the "spirit" of lockdown.
Where on the planet is not currently in the grip of this hysteria? If one had the means to travel abroad for a period and wanted to pretend to live in as old-normal a way as possible, where might one look to go?
I can imagine there must be places, but likely not in Europe or the West in general. Although, I've heard that some US states are almost back to normal, though it's always hard to get exact details, and people do mean different things when they say normal/open. Sometimes a "everything is open" reply turns out to mean things are about the same as they are in England.
Any suggestions? I'm especially interested in somewhat normal socialising/nightclubs/crowds/close-contact hobbies/sports etc.

My husband knows a guy who is a drummer in a band currently touring Sweden, and he said he'd been there for 2 weeks without seeing anybody wearing a mask (and they obviously have gigs going on as well), so that sounds pretty normal.
Governor Kristi Noem, of South Dakota, resisted incredible pressure, and refused to lockdown and/or mask her state. Life is completely normal and they are promoting people to visit and relocated, with the slogan, "Beautiful Place/Beautiful Faces." https://youtu.be/qMJXrt2BDEs

There's a list for tourists here: https://www.traveloffpath.com/countries-without-any-travel-restrictions-or-entry-requirements which is based on how easy it is to get in and out rather than complete absence of lockdown. It's not a complete list, Nicaragua if you can get there is open to tourists and relied on public education (novel idea!) rather than lockdown. Uruguay had mild lockdown (most businesses stayed open) and few "cases" but has not been encouraging tourism.
