The latest round of govt propaganda and fear-mongering plastered all over bus stops and on radio adverts warns us to be aware of "covid particles".

Despite the fact that the virus seems to be in abeyance given the negligible number of cases and deaths within 28 days of a positive test result, the govt's language is reminiscent of those 1980s nuclear war/fallout information films.

More fear porn, more manipulation. Presumably (although possibly not) paid for by our money.

They released another batch this week.
I listen to radio and they seem to have a woman that sounds like she smokes 40 a day croaking her way through some fear porn.

"Oh look, we're all nicely sat in the park on nicely spaced mats. Good Good.
Now you see an extra friend. Do you invite them over for a chat?

NO...DONT DO IT. YOU'LL KILL THEM, THEIR FAMILY AND EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. EXTINCTION EVENT AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT"

There's another one where apparently a hug is worse than unleashing a weapon of mass destruction too.

I guess they had to end the previous "everyone around you is highly likely to have covid" campaign before it fell foul of the ASA guidelines.

Every single good-news item that appears seems to be backed up by ratcheting up the fear level another notch.
SPI-B have a lot to answer for. A sinister and exceedingly dangerous body. And completely unaccountable.

I had not seen any of it. It helps to adhere strictly to what a particle is: a minute portion of matter. It's a fair description of a unit of virus. If anybody finds that scary, I'd be interested to know or why. Who is afraid of particles?

Fon your post is incredulous once again, it is almost no.1 on the Covid Fundamentalists list to be sworn believers in Covid contamination via Formites of Covid.
My neighbour, (pre 2020 a very intelligent man) now never ever draws his curtains, leaves his post 3 days before opening it and only visits supermarket once a fortnight dressed in full PPE, because of his fear of Covid Formites.
Very sadly his new lifestyle is now common across the UK due to the psychological warfare Boris Johnson's rotten to the core government have subjected the populace to for the past year!!!

Not that any of this fear-garbage has any meaning but particles are part of something ergo particles of covid are part of what the coronavirus is made of, and not that covid19 is a disease supposedly caused by and not a virus itself.
Dictionary definitions are from " an extremely small piece of something: " to " The least possible amount."
So, sloppy langauge from Susan and her fellow 'nudgers' trying to appeal to what they think are ordinary people.
