Spain is fighting back, much harder than the UK......

Denouncement for Genocide and Human rights is already into the international court....

Plus, the local autonomous governments have all been denounced in the Courts too...... nobody listens to Spain, and it's way ahead in comparison to the UK.

The link presumes you speak Spanish.......

I do speak (and read) Spanish, along with some other languages. Thank you for that link. I have read the very right wing Voz party won a court case against the government too.

Personally I would not bother with a Spanish beach at the moment. Look at these running for their place to fry in those extraordinary high temps Spain is seeing at the moment.

The beach is marked out in areas to which you have to guard yourself from the neighbours, wear your mask whilst queuing in the open air to get to the beach.

Thanks for that. I managed to get to Tenerife in mid-December in 2020 just before the last full UK lockdown, which happened while I was there. I decided to stay. Why not? No reason to return. I was limited to a 90-day tourist visa from 1st Jan 2021 because we left the EU but I did not complain. I stayed for 90 days and was extremely grateful. I used to be a bit snobby about Tenerife but it is a great place, and the quality of life makes the UK look miserable in comparison. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a sophisticated and affluent city, Gomera is a lovely unspoilt island which is only 45 minutes away by ferry from Los Cristianos and there are very pleasant, even idyllic, little towns like Vilaflor where the spring flowers were beautiful. The island people were calm, polite & unaware of how lucky they are. I'll definitely go back this winter if it is at all possible. End of advert.

I am in Ibiza. Arrived yesterday travel was pretty easy though lots of online forms to fly which was a pain. The Spanish seem very pro-mask and staff are not slow to tell you. Generally it’s the same old nonsense that we had; mask indoors everywhere but as soon as you sit to eat or drink they can come off. Virus can’t get you when you’re eating or drinking.
