In Ontario, police officers have issued a legal claim against the province government, claiming that their orders under the "covid emergency" contradict their oath to uphold and defend the constitution.
I managed to download a copy of the court application from a link on twitter but cannot locate now. I have the pdf file.
Surely, there must be some decent officers in the UK who can take their cue from this? There is no direct equivalent of the constitutional oath Canadian officers have to take, but there must be some UK equivalent?
