Hello everyone
Sorry I haven't posted much since joining, just too low.

So much for online chatting - I've been banned from another chat board for being anti lockdown. It was like a hobby board.

There's no escape is there? I hope we can meet in real life after all this.

Hi Scarlett R, l wondered where you had gone.
Sorry to here you have been low, likewise have had days when l have felt very low.
Sadly no Scarlett there is no escape unless one fully complies with all the nonsense measures. Furthermore l do not think this nonsense will ever end, Covidism is a new religion now and the government know very well that they can exert any measure they wish via devotees adherence and compliance to it, to subvert democracy and control the populace.
How is the reading going?

It's horrible when that happens.

There is no escape,in 3 weeks beer gardens should be opening up in England. Here in Wales, it won't be for two weeks later, I estimate.

The sense of this reality is being instituted via enforced behavioural change. If you enforce behavioural change then you then you can induce feelings which are the rudiments of thought. The sense of this reality is being behaviourally validated, especially for those few points of contact that still exist, shop workers, for instance, if they don't comply they will be immediately rendered dysfunctional so investment in this reality is being extorted. This is the underlying purpose of the measures, now the state apparatus will attempt to embed it, hence their talk of "new norm". Eventually people will forget to question whether the virus is even a threat because its threat is being manifest in the form of our lives, it is like dissimulation and miscognition, even if you read about the virus (and I sat through a two-and-a-half-hour lecture by a medical researcher twice!) you still feel threatened, it is cognitive dissonance arising from the hypocrisy of the way we are being made to live. This is why you feel low. Once you are dislocated from the everyday sources of your sense of self and the reality it inheres in, then you are chronically, this is what studies of the long term unemployed show, now, it is being generalised. What is interesting about the governments response is that even though there was evidence of low rates of contagion in places like leisure centres, and even though children are pretty much safe from the virus, there has been absolutely no attempt to sustain sources of collectivity and social strategies: the virus is a perfect justification for this but, given the essential nature of association and sociality to our being, you have to seriously question the motive of the states instituting all this. It has to be hypocrisy, the elite won't be living like this, that is for sure and the science does not support it, so why have we gone down this route?
Sorry you are feeling low, it will be hard to secure any sources of sociality and this will make everything more toxic, I knew that from the first day I heard of it.

There's no escape even if you do comply with all the measures.

Well count your blessings, you can sit outside and drink your beer starting in 3 weeks.
We voted for our MPs and they continue to vote for these restrictions. It's as simple as that . If you don't like it vote for these: Reform UK.
