Hospital admissions for those with a positive test (either on arrival or in hospital diagnosis) has fallen in the last day reported. With most of the small decline seen in London. There's absolutely no point implementing stricter and stricter measures if the areas being targeted have little or zero effect on transmission.
And thats been the problem all along.
"Lots" of restrictions does nothing at all if you constantly ignore the areas that are the main driver of transmission.
