Can you recommend any lockdown sceptical books?

What I've read/I'm reading so far:

  • Coming Apocalypse by Dr Vernon Coleman
  • Corona, False Alarm? Facts and Figures, by by Karina Reiss Ph.D. and Sucharit Bhakdi MD (a no. 1 bestseller in Germany!). This book will appear in English by October.

Easy explanation of epidemiological models. I already knew that epidemics didn't do exponential growth - does anything in nature? It also taught me the definition of R0 - the model constant. So if your model doesn't fit rather than look for a better model just re-fit the non-working model.

Although not in any way lockdown-specific, How to Have Impossible Conversations presents some great advice for anyone who wants to change the minds of people who strongly hold opposing views. The authors have experience in deprogramming cult members and religious zealots, so their lessons should prove useful in the struggle to get the general public to wake up.
