If you have opinions about compulsory vaccination of health care staff, the consultation is open until 22 October. Let them know what you think.

Well, I've completed the forms, but to my shame/credit to my awareness of how 'they' might use it against me (choose your phrase) I went back and deleted my email address and name.

Wow, that is how we have been brought down. To feeling that our Government might use our names and email addresses against us at some point in the future in a survey such as this.

My own GP practice has my personal details (of course) and apparently I was the only patient out of the entire large practice who complained about the wording 'your GP has identified you as vulnerable' (I'm not a 'vulnerable person') when I was being bombarded with texts 'inviting' me to 'be jabbed'.

It's scary TBH, being aware that highlighting one's presence to the authorities might being unwanted attention. I've lived here all my life and never felt like this before!

@herenow I believe that's how they want you to feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlDGDdAoEPY&t=95s

@ukresponse

Watched it, thank you. First of all, it's difficult to believe that there are 'millions' who feel 'like us' given the huge percentage of the population who've been vaccinated. Secondly, I hugely admire anyone eg Neil Oliver who is brave enough to speak out like this. So many of the silent minority have jobs to think about and just daren't raise their heads above the parapet for fear of repercussions.

There is no such thing as free speech these days. Respect for another's point of view seems to be a thing long past and those of us old enough to remember when that was a thing (ie anyone who can remember back more than a couple of years) should grieve for it.

@herenow I know how you feel. There will be a lot of grieving. However, I do think free speech is more than what is seen on the media. The huge demonstrations here and everywhere say, at the very least, that it's not the end of the game yet. People in UK grew up with a strong expectation of various freedoms, and changing that will be hard.

BTW In the spirit of Neil Oliver's suggestion to reach out, you are welcome to message me if things get difficult.

Thanks for the link.

I filled it in with name and email - time to stand up for what's right. I'd put my extensive answers here but the form did not allow me to view them when finished, it just gave:

"Thank you for submitting your consultation response.

In order to view or print your response, please click on 'visit' to see your responses:

 View

To print your response choose File and Print"

Whereby there was no "visit" to click and selecting "view" just brought up the same screen again. Makes me wonder if the answers are actually being stored or just junked.

Managed to retrieve one of my answers which pretty much reflects the rest of my input. But I remain quite sceptical regarding the answers actually being read by anyone because it looks like they are junked when the form is completed.

Question:

"Which of the following best describes your opinion of the requirement: Those under the age of 18, undertaking direct treatment or personal care as part of a CQC regulated activity (in a healthcare or social care setting, including in someone’s home), must have a COVID-19 and flu vaccination"

Answer:

1a) Healthy individuals under 18 have a statistically insignificant risk from Covid but the yellow card system shows they have a statistically significant risk from the vaccine. Therefore, mandating vaccines for individuals under 18 is nothing more than using these individuals as a human shield whereby, as shown by my point 4 below, this is completely ineffective. Mandating individuals to take a significant risk with their health for absolutely no benefit to themselves  or society is, at best, immoral.

1) Mandating experimental medical treatment is ethnically immoral. 2) The yellow card system shows that major damage is being caused to a significant number of people taking this experimental treatment. 3) As stated by the vaccine manufacturers the vaccines do not prevent people catching and transmitting Covid, it only reduces the symptoms. 4) As the symptoms are reduced for the vaccinated, and we are told that Covid is very dangerous because of asymptomatic transmission, taking the vaccine will make vaccinated people unaware of their infection state and hence a danger to others. 5) The long term effects as a result of the vaccines are unknown. 6) No mention is made of testing for natural immunity (T cell) before taking the vaccine and therefore, again based on the governments yellow card system, mandatory vaccines will result in a large number of people taking an unnecessary risk. 7) The experience of the experimental Covid vaccines, as detailed in my previous points, shows that medical authorities can no longer be trusted to regulate medicines given to the public. Therefore it can reasonably be argued that flu vaccines will, if not already, at some time in the future not have gone through the correct testing procedures before being given to the public."
