Thanks, I'll try Stand in the Park as there seems to be ine nearby now.
So far, every anti lockdown group I've seen on Telegram is pretty grim, sadly.
I am about to sign up, but would appreciate some pointers from someone who knows their way around.
I know how you feel, ScarlettR, as I am very isolated where I am (Isle of Man). I have plans to move back to the North of England in the next few months, so it would be nice to have some connections from places like here.
The Reddit group is a lot more lively and moderated sensibly
I think there are probably plenty of people trying to do the same. Personally I've found it difficult to engage with these sort of forums because I struggle to be concise in my comments, and felt I can lose large amounts of time with what seems like little return.
If there's a bit of space for a casual observer of the forum willing to contribute then I'd also be interested in finding a chat, as it's hard to find others in my physical and social space that are anything other than mildly against restrictions.
Hi Scarlett I'm assuming you're on the Reddit group already? If not, I'm rubbish at this stuff but I'm sure someone who's here and there can tell you how to join... I can't remember what I did.
I've only been on Telegram for the protests stuff and don't feel its my kind of place either. There are some right nutters around who I don't think help the sceptic cause, and whilst I'm all for free speech, and will defend it to the hilt, I personally don't want to subject myself to a load of racism and misogyny which is irrelevant to my sceptic views, so I just stay away from it. This is a tough time to live in. And lonely.
