All well and good.
Where might one get ivermectin in the UK? Without getting accused of grevious stuff.
@rudolph-hucker it's regarded as a thing that only works for worms, not corona-virus, so any reputable medic will not give it out unless you have worms or river-blindness. Once the Oxford trial concludes to decide (or not ) that it works on corona-virus, I expect it will be more commonly prescribed, at present, the consensus is that one may as well take aspirin as ivermectin, but it is much cheaper. One way to get ivermectin is to eat dog shit, that way, there is a chance you might get worms and hence be eligible for ivermectin, another way is to find a local prostitute who is riddled with thrush. If you get a good dose of thrush, you may be able to convince a medic to prescribe ivermectin. Alternatively I have sometimes bought drugs on the internet from e.g. borneo when my doctor was awkward, but it was quite dear.
@ewloe Thank you, that was funny 😀
Regarding early treatment, NHS GPs have been allowed to prescribe inhaled budesonide for home treatment of COVID since April, I know everybody is keeping mousey quiet about that, but it is the case. And from the trials it may be roughly as good as ivermectin for early COVID provided it really is used within the first few days of symptoms. Budesonide is a steroid so it's prescription only and not to be messed with, although it is widely used for asthma.
A person might also be able to follow the promising Spanish nursing home protocol if they are OK to take very cheap over the counter antihistamines and can maybe persuade their GP to prescribe antibiotics.
@rudolph-hucker BIRD Group is setting up a donation-supported online clinic that will prescribe ivermectin. But they are trying to get it approved first. https://ebmcsquared.org/support-us
> they are trying to get it approved first.
so they should, the approval process will prevent ivermectin getting out, if it turns out to be a dud, or otherwise unhelpful.
@partytime the bbc is telling it like it is about ivm: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58170809
@ewloe a very dishonest article, for starters they are claiming that the Together trial, funded by the vaccine lobby, is the highest-quality trial when it hasn't even been peer reviewed yet, there have been concerns raised about methodology https://c19ivermectin.com/togetherivm.html , treatment delay is unknown (IVM is best used early) and the lead investigator has been using very biassed language.
