But in one newspaper its reporting that 85% did what the government told them to do at christmas which I dont believe. So far everyone I have met has done the complete opposite. Interestingly enough a lot of these were total sheep and still are in public..
😀
So that's at least one flock that shepherds didn't watch by night.
Entirely normal Christmas day for me too. Took a tier 3 to tier 2 drive to the Cotswolds today to collect my mother who has spent several days with my sister, her husband and the kids. They were also joined by four other family members on Boxing Day.
Off to a party tomorrow night 🙂
We had invited a couple of friends round who would otherwise have been on their own.
The windows were ajar and the back door propped open as a concession to one who was more worried than the rest of us. Dinner went well but 😮 the surprise was the three young adults in the house turning up at the last moment all wearing masks. Don't know what that was all about and won't ask. 😮
Glad most who have responded enjoyed a normal Christmas - I am unashamedly jealous.

Sounds like your experience was similar to mine. I wanted to host Christmas at my house so that everyone would abide my rules, but the family home is my parent's and my mother had already started preparing everything.
If it was at my house - I would have treated anyone that is Coronafied the same way we treat smokers and have them sat away from everyone else near an open vent. If that was not to their satisfaction, I'd offer them the back garden.
Merry Christmas.
We had five households, four generations, from age 5-almost 90. No covid chat or nonsense whatsoever, just love , joy and cuddles.
