If the policy has been in since april I didnt know about it. I have shopped at cosco about once a month and have never worn a mask. 98% of the time I am the only one. I have had no problems. The post was sent to me the other day so next visit I am expecting a possible challenge. Up to now I have been blissfully unaware. 😀
Re announcements. I hear them in asda and tk max all the time. They seem to come on every time I walk in unmasked after a few minutes and paranoia thought it is directed at me as they see me on camera but maybe not 😊the tk max one I cant stand as it's some idiot going on about face nappies matching your shoes blah blah then says something about exemptions..
Most shops I go to i am the only unmasked one with the very occasional meet of a non zombie..
I am sure all this will change.i have always been suspicious of the governments motives for providing such a varied pretty much fits anyone ( if you care to) exemption list..

Got a reply pretty quickly from the executive office:

"Government guidance states that it is not for shops to enforce the wearing of face coverings. However, our marshals at the entrance to our supermarkets will be reminding our customers of the new requirement. Any customers who are exempt just need to tell our marshals.

"I have called our Worcester Park branch and spoke to the Duty Manager, Phyo Zaw. Phyo will speak to the marshals at the branch to ensure they are following this.

"If we can help any further please let me know."
