With respect to the vaccine, I expect there will be adverse reactions, but the FT is reporting Covid vaccines show few serious side-effects after millions of jabs. Surveillance of AstraZeneca and Pfizer recipients in UK reports minor complaints but few severe reactions.

The lockdown Sceptics are not necessarily against using vaccines to protect against viruses. But shouting at them while banging the table is usually counter productive. I'm just saying.
Your user name and shouty demeanor conjure an image of a drunken Bay City Roller, raving and ranting in Euston station waving a broken whisky bottle in a threatening manner at the passers by going to work. You may well have a valid point about vaccination, my brother in California thinks as you do, but is slightly less forecful in his demeanor.
I'll probably have the jab, since I have co-morbidities and cannot take the chance with covid19. But I'll have to disregard you if you persist in calling the elderly and frail amongst us stupid for being worried and wise. Good luck to you but please stop shouting and get rid of the broken bottle.

Why bother explaining? The vaccine is safe in any case. Just tell them you've been vaccinated. How could they know? Don't tell them what they don't need to know. Or just have the jab, who gives a hoot?

What are the long term effects? Thats right no sod knows as these were fastracked through all trial stages in about 8 months and given "emergency use authorisation" while phase 3 trials are still ongoing to 2023.
All medications and medical intervention carries a degree of risk. That is why the principle of "informed consent" is so important! No one should ever be coerced into any medical procedure.
You could just as easily be that unlucky person who drops down dead after having the jab as anyone else. With any medication it's down to a personal risk/benefit analysis.
Where is the benefit to anyone under 50 in taking this gene therapy?
It would mean they are much less likely to acquire and transfer the virus to someone else.
