I have refrained from posting here for a while because I lack the knowledge of some of the people here but I know what makes sense for me and after all this site is supposed to be for Lockdown Sceptics. I strongly agree with the people who are against the passport/card idea. Part of me would even like to see some businesses try it but without the protection of a blanket regulation from the government just to have it backfire on them when people go elsewhere. I don't get the argument that businesses want some sort of assurance provided in the form of a government funded card. It seems like we're being manipulated to thinking that it will be inevitable when I don't see how it could be without a lot of changes to current laws.
The argument that it will boost confidence for businesses in the wake of lockdowns seems very weak. If all the restrictions were removed now and the propaganda on covid stopped, most of the people would gladly revert to normal, some straight away and some when they realise its no longer fashionable to support restrictions. There would be a few people genuinely scared to live normal life for a while but they were probably people who weren't interacting a lot anyway and if they didn't book a flight or go to a pub that's entirely on them in a world without restrictions. The economic world does not need assurances in the form of entry cards, it needs assurances that the market will be free to operate normally without huge human restrictions.
I'm nearly 33 and I won't be getting the jab. I'm not particularly worried about any adverse affects but why bother taking a risk for a virus (which I have even already had) that will not harm me when hopefully I am less than half way thru my life. There is no group of people to monitor who have taken it 20 or 30 years ago to see how they are getting on with their heath, so the smug people on social media who say "I had it last week, I'm still alive!" are totally irrelevant to the long term or younger people who will not get serious effects of covid. When they get to my age group, I don't believe there are any altruistic reasons for taking it. Older people will have either had covid already by then or had the jab so their worries are moot and frankly no longer my concern after all the stuff we've gone through this last year. I probably still wouldn't be taking it if I was 63 either. If people pressure others to take it to drive up herd immunity (which can apparently only be achieved thru vaccination now according to the WHO) they can piss off. That's the same creepy psychological tactics they used to shame everyone into wearing masks. "I'm wearing a mask to protect my mates" ughh.
We've already put our lives on hold for a year. It isn't selfish to not get a vaccine if you don't fancy taking the risk with your own long term health. They've deliberately censored anything that could be seen as an alternative to vaccines, there are too many vested interests involved and I may be wrong but I don't trust anything that's been said by the government or SAGE on the matter.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56274293 - Updated coronavirus vaccines can be fast-tracked like flu jabs.
As I have said in previous posts. Anyone who relents and takes the vaxx for the purposes of freedom not health or who supports vaxx passes are signing up to a lifetime of being injected with a never ending list of fast tracked gene therapy "vaccines".
Once you have accepted the vaxx passes YOU WILL be getting injected multiple times per year to keep it up to date with NO CHOICE whether you want them or not. Under threat of being unable to work, access basic services or even buy food!
If you value freedom and you value your bodily integrity/sovereignty then ANYONE who goes along with or supports this agenda is YOUR ENEMY. They deserve no debate, they deserve no respect. Being ignorant when there is an abundance of data is a choice! Stupidity is not an excuse.
All for a virus 99.9% survive. To the lurkers/doubters... Ask yourself... Why is this even needed? It's not. But it's part of the never ending FEAR CAMPAIGN to ensure support for vaxx passports.
If you're 33, have no known health issues you're safe enough.
If you've already HAD covid you have a level of immunity far above what AZ is going to give you (and a little above Pfizer).
So yes, i'd say theres no health benefit for you having it at all.
Hello fellow sceptics and dissenters,
Having been sustained by the fellowship of this website for some time now, I have finally felt compelled to add my two-pennyworth. First and foremost I agree wholeheartedly with most of the foregoing; it is very much in tune with my own rationale and personal experience.
I am a 62 year old male who has just recently recovered from the coronavirus. I know it was coronavirus because it was a 'bit of a bugger' at the time and I tested postive after receiving a swab-kit that had been ordered (without my knowledge) on my behalf by a 'concerned' relative...
Now, increasingly, I find I am having to justify to family, friends and acquaintances why I am not going to take any of the bloody vaccines that are being repeatedly offered to me. Has the world gone absolutely mad?
These folk, whom I once regarded as otherwise normal, rational adult human beings capable of holding grown-up conversations; in some cases even able to read big words in books without pictures, almost to a person look at me aghast as I attempt to articulate the salient points of acquired immunity. But it's like talking to bloody chimps!
Thank god for this site and all of you of a similar, rational mien; it has preserved my sanity and reassured me that I am not alone.
NHB
