Fon, are you sure you're in the right place, the right forum?
Or are you advertising for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, by any chance?
What's this "Mr. Blair this" and "Mr. Blair that"?
The man promotes digital health passports and is a compromised politician.
Who the f cares what he thinks about vaccines?
Or about anything?

Quite.
He belongs in jail - don't quite know how he survived the Inquiry, the slippery crook.

"52.4% vaccine efficacy between dose 1 and dose 2,

Pfizer are talking about the time between doses. Dr Salisbury is talking about the period directly after the 2nd dose but before 2nd dose kicks in, i.e. the result of the 1st vaccine. It turns out that that 1st dose of vaccine had given 91% efficacy. hence 2nd dose, when it takes effect, only lifts efficacy by 3%. not worth it.

yes if this is where we discuss ways to deal with corona virus.

It's shorter than Anthony Charles Lynton Blair. His legacy remains controversial, but even a broken clock is sometimes right!

Well he certainly sucked in a lot of people with his dodgy dossier, but I'm sure he is just providing publicity for Dr David Salisbury's ideas. The basis of the claim is that, after two doses have been delivered, but before the second dose take effect ( it takes some days, it is said) the subject is 91% immune, hence the idea arises that the 91% efficacy immediately after he 2nd dose must be entirely down to the 1st dose, and that the subject would be rendered 91% immune by a single dose. I don't know if he's right, but if he is then it's best to give as many subjects as possible a single dose, and only return to give the 2nd jab once all vulnerable group have had at least one dose. And irrespective of Mr Blair's intervention, that's how things are.
