I got 'warned' by a young cop this afternoon.
"You have to go home, it's a national lockdown. If you don't go home, you could be arrested. You've been warned. Do you understand?' I simply said 'no'.
He looked like a lovely young man with his whole life ahead of him. I could imagine his family being really proud of him in his uniform under normal circumstances and yet here he was trying to intimidate peaceful people.
I wanted to ask him how he he would be able to look his future children and grandchildren in the eye and explain to them his part in enabling this global tyranny to take over, but kept my mouth shut.
I have to admit, there have been a few tears rolling down my cheeks today - it's heartbreaking to see what's become of our country.
Usually I come home from these protests invigorated, and with further strength to keep fighting. Not this time though. This is not the police service that I was once proud to serve with. It was like watching storm troopers on the streets of London today. So, I am down but not defeated. The fight has to go on.
Again well done everyone. I would really appreciate posts of any videos of protests in England and around the world as it's getting harder and harder to access...
Thanks
😀

Glad to see that there is at least one person out there with a conscience. We could really do with large numbers resigning or refusing to enforce the government's authoritarian decrees.
