The dilemma is political, not medical or scientific.

Governments, starting with the panic-ridden Italians, chose a specific line of policy, and many others followed, lemming-like rather than "guided by science".

The real problem is that those who adopted those policies will simply NOT admit they were wrong. (Bush and Blair have never admitted invading Iraq was a mistake, have they?)

Screaming numbers and logic at them will not work. It has not worked so far.

Neither will the vaccine be a way out. I am certain it will only be a matter of time - weeks or months - before a vaccinated person dies of/with the virus. Remember they are vaccinating the "most vulnerable", that means the most frail and elderly.

Then it will all kick-off again. Hysteria, by definition, is irrational.

The only lasting solution lies through the ballot box, and the next big test is Germany in August. Merkel is not running again. If enough new members of parliament come in, opposed to covidmania, then the new German government will have to change tack, and if that happens, the rest of the world will have to take notice. The lemmings behaviour, "herd stupidity" as Sir Desmond Swayne described it, will be broken, and the pressure on the others to change course will be intense, with France going to the polls in April 2022.

Of course this presupposes the existence of a political opposition standing on an anti-covidmania platform. As the crisis intensifies, this has to arise.

I wasn't able to find something definitive that talked about animal trials for the new Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.

Nevertheless, I'm still not planning on being jabbed. I would prefer to see a couple of years' testing first. Also, it's clear from the use of propaganda (e.g., the WHO's changing definition of herd immunity) that the vaccine is being pushed very hard, and one has to wonder why.

I am closely following the case of tiffany dover .the nurse who fainted 17 mins after having the vaccine on live tv. She has not been seen since and her facebook page of which she was very active on has been taken down. There is a death certificate for a tiffany dover same relatives named same area ect..a video was posted by the hospital apparently showing her alive and well with colleagues but masked up to her forehead. It does not look like the same person to me but hard to tell. No other reports of her at work and she has all but disappeared.her family are saying nothing ( likely gagged). The fact checkers are out in full denying all claims that she is dead. All they have to do is ask her to appear unmasked on tv to allay all the rumours going around that she is dead. Hard to find info but check it out.

Trials have been completed.
Emergency authorisation is far from uncommon and follow up 2 year and so on are normal.

There's nothing if Pfizer/Moderna protocol that is in any way different to any other vaccine.

Oxford/ZA maybe - so many screw ups in the trial and use of "group data" are dodgy at best. That one looks far more rushed and in normal times would likely have to go back and re-run parts. Thats mainly on efficacy questions though - the P1/P2 safety trials are fine.

Nothing eh? Oxford University, they say there is an Early indication that vaccine could reduce virus transmission from an observed reduction in asymptomatic infections. That's a good start, eh? I won't bet the farm on it yet, Splatt!

Thats not data at all. Thats anecdotal at best and often these figures with huge margins of error disappear once the data set becomes larger and more reliable.

Pfizer (a far better vaccine) arent expecting preliminary data until the end of Q1 2020. That'll be Q3 2020 if this crazy 12 week thing is implemented.

So no, there is no data to claim any reduction in transmission and literally not a single company, manufacturer or regulatory body is claiming there is.
