The new laws about isolation - open to abuse?

Hi, I'm new here, so I hope this is the right place to make this thread.

With the advent of the new measures making isolation legally binding in the event of a close contact tracing incident, and subject to possible fines of up to £10,000 for a breach, has anyone else considered this scenario?:

Someone could test positive and then maliciously and falsely name another party as a close contact. That other party could then be ordered to isolate for 14 days, with the threat of a large fine if they do not. They would not be able to say that they hadn't been in close contact with the person naming them, because Test and Trace would not give them the name of that person.

This is my understanding, please correct me if I am wrong - but this seems to be outrageous!

Crikey, I hadn't actually thought of that but what I want to know is if you live by yourself and you are forced to self isolate, how are you supposed to get food in? What if friends or relatives live too far away to help?

It is better that you go hungry than risk passing on this dreadful disease to someone else. How selfish of you to even question it.
(!!! ironic explanation marks, for those who don't recognise my name)

If anyone here tests positive, please can they tell the track 'n' trace people they've been in contact with Boris, Dom, Gove, Vallance, Whitty etc.?
