website is surely about lockdown scepticism and the impact on our freedoms. I feel like either I'm insane or everyone else is! ... My safety will be fine regardless.

Could you please refrain from quoting me if you are going to edit the quote. I see you've not done too much but it crosses a line in my eyes, dirty tactics. My actual post was -

"You can use whatever you like to control a virus. This website is surely about lockdown scepticism and the impact on our freedoms. To make that freedom conditional on a vax with emergency approval?! I feel like either I'm insane or everyone else is!"

It doesn't take a genius to see that you've taken out mine and others key points, about vaccines being used as a bargaining chip for freedom. Even our own vaccine minister did not want this, although I wouldn't be suprised to see a public pressured u turn, this governments party trick. Also I said nothing about my safety being fine in the post you quote, I see you added that to make me look selfish. To clarify my position I'm young, fit, healthy and exposed to many germs on a regular basis. The vaccine will not benefit me in the slightest. My Nan has had her first jab and I encourages her to do this as the risk/reward balance is very different as she is basically under house arrest atm.

Not all people on this site are true sceptics.

Its OK to compare Sweden to the UK, when it support an argument. but mustn't compare to the neighbours, when it doesn't. Is that the principle at play.

No its not. Its meaningless to compare deaths or excess to a completely different demographic.

The comparisons are purely the differences of approach. Sweden has a similar outcome in terms of deaths without any of the utterly brutal restrictions whose consequences will continue to kill for years to come.
Its the same globally and US state to state. No matter what NPIs were enforced, the outcomes remain similar long term. Which hints most of the NPIs are useless.

Except it really hasn't, has it. If it had, I wouldn't have had the flippant, "It turns you into a goat". I would have had a list of possible side effects with a list of cited study sources.

Which are all public and listed on MHRA data and the UK governments own portal.
Absolutely none of which are worse than or in any higher number than other approved vaccines.

They vaccines are as tested as any other new entry to the market. Absolutely no difference at all.

Except none of the current vaccines claim to stop transmission, so I think you need to get your facts straight before claiming them as "known".

You have not seen the world news today, eh?
