No you are having far fetched ideas. The WHO only goes as far as saying 'we’d rather not do lockdowns as a primary means of control of this virus'. Every country in the world is presently using or trying to use vaccines as the primary means. Hence they are obeying WHO who say to use lockdown as a temporary measure to lessen stress on healthcare systems. You will have noticed that the lockdowns are flip/flopping, as nations try not to use them. The trouble is the virus flares up when they stop in every country in the world. At present, the global death toll stands at 1.63 million people. if the figures are trusted. In the UK, the honest Symptom tracker, which is immune from corruption shows at least 360,000 are infected in the uk, of whom about 100 will die. Since R is around 1, there will continue to be around 360,000 people infected every approx 2 weeks, or perhaps 3,000 a year.

The question is not whether the virus is killing people, but whether it is killing enough people to warrant social distancing. Left unchecked the infections might zoom up to (e.g. some millions, as it probably was in April) and we might have over 10,000 deaths a year unless we hit (or have already hit) the herd immunity limits. These are the figures governments are pondering. 10,000 unnecessary deaths is a lot, even if they are getting on a bit mostly.

Basically all nations have exaggerated the problem and now they are all stuck. No compiracy required to explain things. Control your hysteria.

The virus is rife and it is killing / has killed tens of thousands of people. Nobody likes lockdowns, but until it is totally obvious the vaccine or herd immunity has kicked in, governments feel they have no option but to plough on. They might be right. I think they are overreacting, but I'm not certain of it.

In my opinion, sooner or later a single major nation, US, France or Spain or Germany or even the UK will cease lockdown and we will all witness the effect. We will be proved right or wrong at that point. But nobody has the balls to cease in mid-winter!!!

With pleasure.The principle claim was that the epidemic is over and we have a pseudo epidemic based on false PCR +ves. Dr. Yeadon has stepped himself back from that flat claim recently, and admitted the second wave is real, but is only a ripple. He acknowldges that thousands of people are getting the circulating virus, but that herd immunity is present in places hit hard by first wave, hence 2nd wave / ripple occurs in places less hard hit on first wave. he may be right, but herd immunity has not yet not been reached in London. Symptom checker app suggests 6,000 active cases per million in e.g.Tower Hamlets.

Sweden is not amongst the major nations, for obvious reasons, and since it did not lockdown
to start with we can never see the contrast of stopping lockdown in mid winter.

I believe no leader presently has the gonads to try it because, when lockdowns are lifted, as if by clockwork, there is always a mysterious well timed event/cover story such as a new variant or a local surge in cases, that continues to excercise groupthink over the feeble minds of those in power. In any case, those with the power to lift lockdown , in my view, are reluctant to test whether their fear is misplaced, they prefer to see a conclusive slump in case numbers - unfortunately, as the symptom check shows, nature has not provided one yet, esp. since this virus is seasonal. You may see it around March, when the virus properly runs out of steam again. You'll just have to wait...

I'm afraid there is nothing so simple as a global conspiracy to blame this on.

It is not a theory of any kind, but it is an opportunistic and far fetched name cooked up for the present phase of the industrial revolution merely to make the weforum seem more relevant than it is. Nohing will be set or reset, whatever that means, as a result of air-headed musings by the weforum. They do, however seem to have convinced you of their relevance, so perhaps it is working?
