I agree with what JMC posted. This is more to do with generalized incompetence, randomness, panic and herd mentality than a conspiracy.

.. there is a genuine debate about all of this in Cabinet and the whole country and media (especially in the last few weeks - October onwards - the worm really is turning

.. the above does not mean conspiracies don't exist. Of course they do. But they mostly tend to cancel each other out or have relatively limited effects - it's very difficult to have a super-secret, competent, global conspiracy that achieves all its goals and manages to stay secret.

Bear in mind that Ofcom (UK) published its censorious “coronavirus guidance” on the same day as the country was placed under full lockdown, which cautions broadcasters against challenging the advice being issued by “public health authorities”, i.e. the state. That move is not incompetence, the government does not want its lockdown narrative challenged by broadcasters.

The 'super-secret, competent, global conspiracy that achieves all its goals and manages to stay secret' is here on the World Economic Forum's website, The Great Reset initiative - https://www.weforum.org/great-reset

So, in one sense you're right, it's not a secret conspiracy, the plotting is brazenly going on in the public eye, if you care to look.

Save the conspiracy theories for your science fiction novels folks.

The people running this can’t coordinate England, Wales and Scotland and Manchester so they wouldn’t be up to a Great Reset!

We do have (severely) misguided people in the leadership and to a point we do have some vested interests…appearing on these 5:00 news bulletins must be a huge ego boost. It’s a rule-maker’s paradise, playing to the inner-Traffic-Warden that lurks in so many of us.

Our energies would be better focussed on working out how to start a program of civil disobedience to protest about these pointless lockdowns. Don’t fall into the trap of making our protest’s reportable as “right wing conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more outlandish stuff reported here was placed there by lockdown special-ops to discredit the rest of us. (oh look – now I am doing it!)

In a recent interview with Dan Wooton, Chris Bryant MP referred to the Barrington three as "crackpots". Of course it was easy to defend such distinguished scientists and in that case the mud couldn't stick. Opprobrium was rightly heaped upon the MP for Rhondda. When you get into the realm of globalist conspiracies, anti-vaxxerism and Big Pharma it's so much easier to straw man the lockdown sceptics.

This comment is irrelevant. Please debunk The Great Reset, explain why it's a conspiracy and why it isn't being acted upon.

Well I clicked the link and read the WEF page. Looks like the kind of appeal you get from a global organisation - a bit like stuff that comes out of WHO/UN &c. Are you making a claim about it other than what's there at face value as a few others seem to be?
