Testing school kids will be a great way to increase the number of positive test results without any real cases. If they are false positives, no problem is actually present. If they are true positives, then there was a problem that has been handled by the kids' immune system.

From such test results, the government spin will be fear that the virus is spreading. A more realistic interpretation is one of joy that so many kids have either pre-existent immunity or developed fresh immunity.

In general, we might view the daily increase in so-called 'cases', or positive test results, as something 'good'. This is, of course, except for those that require treatment, which is a small fraction.

Either way one looks at this, one can take something encouraging. If the positive results are false, the infection rate is not nearly so bad. If the positive results are true, we are developing immunity. It is a win-win that the government would turn into a lose-lose.

The telegraph has taken down its scare story that the covid wards are full of children:

but it is cached here: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/01/01/covid-wards-full-children-first-time-pandemic-warn-nurses/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=u k"> https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache//www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/01/01/covid-wards-full-children-first-time-pandemic-warn-nurses/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

I think they must have been told off when it was found that the stupid nurses were found to have been exaggerating. It could not be true obvsly, since children famously don't get bad covid-19.But it makes me wonder- what else have the medics been exaggerating about. Their fake news reached as far as Australia. Dumb journalists and medics are causing total mayhem
